| I did purchase a yorkie from Brushy Creek. She was very very sick when we purchased her and she spent a week in ICU at Gulf Coast Animal Hospital. Once she was stablized she went through weekly treatments for about six months. That wasn't the only time she got sick either. She's had several other bouts with illness and for no apparent reason. Let me know what I can do to help, because Bushy Creek needs to be put to an end. |

| Cross-post away! The more publicity the better! And I have exchanged emails with Fifi and we're working to set up an interview soon. Thanks again, Villette! And I should be at the station for the interviews so I look forward to seeing you then. We now have a tentative date (everything in TV is tentative) for the Brushy Creek story: Tuesday, February 20th. That's after American Idol with a huge audience. Kudos to our news director for showing so much interest and faith in this story to give it such a prime viewing spot. And that picture of Gracie wasn't as staged as it appears. I was watching TV with her on my sofa last night and looked over at her in that exact pose and just had to reach for my camera-phone. Thus, no flash with low resolution, but still a funny picture. More updates to come!! David |

| Personal Experience I have dealth with Bushy Creek, Dave Moore twice in the last year, 2006, which doesn't make me feel too smart. I can certainly give you first hand experience etc. Dave deals with many, many breeds I have found out in the last week or so. I have a Coton de Tulear on my lap, female, probably 12 weeks old, all of Dave's paperwork seem to be phony. She has a heart murmur, coxcidia?sp, anemia, and much more, he shipped her to me on 12/22/06. Anyway, I am a first hand victim, two times. How do I contact you directly? |

| puppy mills Our Golden Charlie, who passed after only 5 years is a product of puppy mills in Kansas. If I was an attorney or a reporter with funds to burn, I would make it my life's work to shut every one down..the cruelty and pain that has been inflicted on these innocent fur kids and their human parents will never be fully realized...how many thousands of pets have gone down this road? How many people have cried their eyes out watching their loved babies suffer? My husband and I are amoung them.. Those like David who have the heart and the means to make their voices heard..let them succeed , as there is no more important job to be done.

| Brushy Creek Well I seem to be one of the last on the original post to have a problem, I wish more people would actually respond and tell their story... here is my original post http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...&postcount=200 Im going to message him as well. I used to freelance for Fox 26 (behind the camera), I wish I had the courage to get in front of a camera and tell my story, maybe my email to them helped. This is Scruffy, from the story above... the morning I took him to the vet. he never returned. All of the employees at the vets office I used fell in love with Scruffy and tried everything in their power to keep him alive. I actually think it would be good to interview them, they treated both dogs. This is Izzy, the replacement Shih tzu (what does this dog look like?) (see my strory above) we rescued this dog, she was also very sick, but is now doing great. After going round and round with them.... Brushy Creek did offer to refund our money for Izzy not being a full breed shih tzu, but I would never take my dog back to that hell and he knew that... besides that, I think she is the cutest dog! Half Yorkie Half Shih Tzu. During the experience, being in limbo with my kids Christmas gift and not knowing if Izzy would survive we took in Sammy from a loving home in Grangerland. |

I'm so sorry about Charlie. Losing him at 5 years must have been devestating for you. That's close to the age of my Chanel and in my eyes - she's still a puppy. I'm with you.....I wish I could FIND attorneys or people that had the means to work hard for these dogs & the people that love them - which is why what David is doing is so great....it may not solve the puppy mill problem in this country - but the more people who are made aware of them - the better chance that one day they'll be a thing of the past. FOX News DEF has my respect & support. | |

| These stories are heartbreaking. I hope this has a very positive outcome for the memory of all these poor victims! Villette, anything new on the date this story may be aired??
