| ![]() Here is a pic of David I found on an ebay auction to go hunting with him. I have met him in person, so I know for a fact this is him. I'm surprised he'd advertise this, you'd think someone he'd sold a sick pup to would have bid on this and taken him hunting..........if you get my drift. Just an observation on my end, I'd never do anything like that.

| ![]() Well you have to admit from an outside looking in perspective it looks like a smear campaign. I would like to see the total story from both sides. I have read all the bad things people have posted in here and I would be interested in hearing the other side also. I am hoping Fox 26 would also want their story do show this. But alas the media never seems to get both sides of the story or the story is not 100% correct. I know this from first had experience when my llamas (2 babies & 1 adult) were killed two years ago. The adult was attacked & mauled by a pit bull and two babies were shot in the head. One news group made me look like the bad guy for shooting the pit bull that just killed my full grown llama and they asked me how I thought the owner of the pit bull felt seeing his pit bull hung on my fence. This is close to my own back yard so I have alot of interest in this matter. |

| ![]() Yes Dobie, I think hearing both sides would be nice. Do you know of any happy customers that didnt get sick dogs? I would be interested to see if the newscast people are able to find any happy customers to interview. It doesnt sound like a smear campaign to me since people are telling their stories of what actually happened to them. They are the ones having to deal with the sick and dying dogs they bought from Brushy Creek Kennels. This isnt hear say, it is actual hands on experience with these people. How can you say that is a smear campaign? I am sure the TV channel will check records and find out if the wronged buyers are legit before they tell their story to everyone watching. You can email the reporter doing the story if you have any information on any happy customers, I am sure they would love to hear from you. |

| ![]() I do not frequent the dog buying business but, I am sure there are people out there who did have a good experience because if this place is such a big puppy mill you would think there would be hundreds of cases not just the 7 or 8 I have seen here. I do feel sorry for people that had or have dealt with sick dogs lord knows I have. But as far as the smear goes it appears to me from an outside looking in as one. The reason I say this is because people on here other than the victims are speaking out and it appears most of them have not even come close to the actual place or person. I know I have not so I can not speak either way. I was just giving my perspective on what I am reading. |

| ![]() I'm sure that every puppy David sells isn't sick. There are several problems with the way he does business though. He misrepresents the age, color etc. of the puppies. He did this to me sending a tiny pup he claimed was 11-12 weeks old and that she was pure white. The vet said, by checking her teeth that she was 7-8 weeks old and anyone could see she was bi colored. She was in the hospital within four days of her arrival with coccidia, extreme anemia, and a heart murmur. This could happen to any breeder but it's a matter of how the breeder responds to the situation that let's you know about his character, or lack there of. What Dave Moore did was refuse to communicate with me after two or three phone calls the day after she arrived. I left messages about questions the vets at the MSU Vererinary Hospital had and would he please help me at least with information... I never heard from him. I spoke with the woman who works for him and she assured me he would call me back but he never did. It's not that some of his pups are sick it's that he has no honorable business practices at best and at worst might be an outright crook. |

You have to realize, I only posted about MY OWN EXPERIENCE - it was not good and I came here to talk about it - and knowing what I know now, I'm just glad I didn't buy a dog. Little did I know at the time how many people have been sold sick puppies. Just because You don't SEE them posting - doesn't mean they aren't out there. cschaer ...he did the same thing to me - emailed me pictures - I raced out there - a Long drive - and the puppy they showed me wasn't even close to the ones in the email. I know they ship dogs - so I can only think this is common practice for them as far as selling very young dogs - see woofsheperds posts - she went thru hell with them

Like I said before I am just giving my perspective. I am an American and I do believe in innocent until proven guilty. I believe every business will have unhappy customers no matter how good or bad you are. My whole point of this was I hope FOX 26 looks at both sides and is not like all the other media out there who only looks from one angle. | |

| ![]() Why you would feel the need to hang his dog on your fence?? I understand if it was necessary to shoot the dog to save your animal but the mode of display sounds like rage & revenge to me rather than defense ![]() Quote:

| ![]() The reason I hung the dog on the fence was to find the owner. I can tell you one thing most people do not come forward and claim their animal when they do something this bad. The animal it killed was our very first animal that has been in parades, in schools ect it was priceless to us but it was worth upwards of $5,000 and I wanted to know who was going to pay for this loss. Let me tell you with in 15 minutes I had the owners name and address from his friends and he would not even come and talk to me. I hope that answered your question. Of course there was rage I think you would feel rage too if the animal you raised from a baby to 6 years old only 1/3 of its lifespan was killed by someone's animal out on the prowl. I did not want revenge I wanted restitution and the owner to take responsibility which was never done. Last edited by dobiedude; 01-30-2007 at 03:14 PM. Reason: more thoughts |

All I can say is if that kind of coverages helps the dogs that ARE sick there - then good. I know about 2 sides and all - but honestly - if you were in the position of having a seriously ill puppy - and treated the way these people were treated I think you'd feel differently. Any one of us can post about our experiences with a breeder or kennel - it doesn't mean it's a smear campaign - If I were on a campaign I'd have done LOTS more talking instead of just the one thread. Just so you can see - this is the thread I did a long time ago right after I was there http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...t=brushy+creek and I'm sorry about your llamas - that's a whole different issue but devestating for you no matter what - what a horrible thing to happen ... ![]() ![]() ![]()

| ![]() DobieDude, I dont think people would come on and tell lies to smear someones name and if you continue to sell dogs that seem to get sick immediately after bringing them home then you are obviously knowingly selling sick dogs. That is bad enough but he is not making it right with the customers when they do. Do you own any yorkies by the way? The reason I ask is because you have never posted about owning one, never asked a question about one, never answered anyone elses question about them or never shown a picture of your yorkies. "From the outside looking in" that seems a little strange to me. The people here are interested in yorkies and that is the common bond we share. |

| ![]() I know I have read that thread but there was one when you said there were over 250 dogs on site and then you said you never went to the kennel. Like I said before I hope the news gets both sides of the story not just a one sided point of view. after all aren't we all entitled to our side of any situation? Just a thought. |
