| Layla does not get left home alone.. but that's a choice that our family made... when i am at school she is at work with my parents (we have our own business) i think that she could be left alone (when she was younger she would get very upset when she coudlnt' see me) but now if i have to go out and do something in the yard.. i leave her and she is very content sitting on the stairs. but as a rule, no, she is not left alone. |

| Yes and have never had a problem even with him having the run of the house. I have not crated my little man since he was too teeny weeny to get to where he wanted to be on his own

| Absolutely! Buddy is home alone for 8 1/2 hrs a day. He sleeps all day. How do I know? Because on the weekends that's what he does when I am not playing or walking him. They get into a schedule which they actually like. I have to also work and I know he's safe and comfy all day. |

| well, I kinda have too. I would rather he be home when I run errands then be locked in the car. I work from home, so he has company most of the day. But when I do go out it is only for short periods, and he has his little area with a bed and food and toys, once he is house trained, he can run of the house when I go out. My hubby and I go away for the weekend sometimes, and when we do that we always find somewhere pet friendly.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Yes if necessary. During the day my husband, son and then my daughters (after school) are home with them while I am at work. Then when I get home I am home with the kids and the doggies. Usually if we have to go some place on the weekend and can't take them then they are home alone. They are very comfy and the house alarm is on so no break-ins to worry about. The reality of it is you can't take them every where with you. Lex is 9 1/2 lbs so toting him around is hard and he hates to be in a carrier or bag. Lulu being 2lbs is manageable but she is not all that keen on being in a carrier and being restricted from checking out everything. So to be safe they do have to spend some time home. They are not alone because they have each other and our kitty april to play with.

| Yup, during the day while we're at work. (We come home at lunch for an hour, so she's only alone for about 4 hours at a time). We put baby gates up on the stairs so she can only be downstairs. Although I'm thinking I might have to start crating her up again because all of a sudden yesterday she decided it would be a great idea to dig a hole in my $400 oriental rug! She's out today, but only because her Daddy intervened. It's so hard to stay mad at her though, she's so cute. And she gives the best kisses. |

| Unfortunately my dogs have to be left home alone as the only places that allow dogs around here are pet stores and obviously if we are going grocery shopping they must stay alone. I take them where and when I can though.. Dawn |

| Ferdinand is left home alone from 8am-2:30pm every day. He stays babygated in the laundry room. He'll have free roam of the house once he's 100% potty trained... the bedroom/bathroom doors will be closed though.

| I also work and have no choice but to leave Tink home alone. She is crated with her toys and blankie and I come home at noon to potty her and play with her for about 40 minutes. I leave the radio with my favorite music station on for company for her. I don't know if she cares, but it makes me feel good. |
