Yes if necessary. During the day my husband, son and then my daughters (after school) are home with them while I am at work. Then when I get home I am home with the kids and the doggies. Usually if we have to go some place on the weekend and can't take them then they are home alone. They are very comfy and the house alarm is on so no break-ins to worry about. The reality of it is you can't take them every where with you. Lex is 9 1/2 lbs so toting him around is hard and he hates to be in a carrier or bag. Lulu being 2lbs is manageable but she is not all that keen on being in a carrier and being restricted from checking out everything.
So to be safe they do have to spend some time home. They are not alone because they have each other and our kitty april to play with.
