Out of my 5 dogs, Lucy know the most commend.

including:

sit, stay, come, down, belle(standing up pretty like a squirrel),jump up, down, bring the toy, drop.

And my favorite.. Attack (she go right for MY hand ). lol

let's see, some of these may be considered commands versus tricks but here goes, Hot Rod knows all of these and Maggie knows about 95% of these:

sit, stay, come (most of the time), down, roll over, play dead, right and left paw, kisses, sit pretty, dance, crawl, speak, spin, jump through a hoop, wait, stay, drop it, leave it, nite-nite-they jump up on the pillow on the couch and lay down and go to sleep, harness off-will stand still til I take off harness, wipe butt - will stop and let me clean them from doing their business, and knows each of the different doors that we go out of so all I have to do is say which one and they will head to whichever one to go out - for example, kitchen, sunroom, mommy's or daddy's garage.

We are in the process of learning: car coming - which means to go off to side of road, sit and stay, and how to ring a bell when wanting to go outside.

Wow what a smarty pants Hot Rod is! And Maggie too!

Jeter knows a few tricks, like shake hands, Kiss Mommy, Where's _____, ( fill in name of our family or his toy and he will go get that person or correct toy), and dance, and sit pretty, (he jumps up on a little foot stool and poses for me! ) he also know commands like stay, sit, down, Kennel up (when i need him safe in his kennel) and Potty ( go to the back door )

Axl, age 19 weeks, has started to pick up on Jeter's behavior so he can do a few things, he started following Jeter when he was just 10 weeks old and he picked up on them fast.

Yumi Yasha, also 19 weeks old, doesn't listen right now, she is a spit fire Today I did get her to sit when I was trying to bring her inside after playing in the back yard, she takes off running all over the yard and thinks I am playing a game with her. I usually have to pretend to have a treat for her to get her to come to me. Today i just said SIT and Oh my she listened and I scooped her up fast! It is the very first time she listened at all to a command so I have some HOPE yet

Yorkies have an amazing capacity to figure out what it is we're trying to teach them to do on command. They know how to do all this stuff. They just have to learn the words we use to get them to do it. Work with them 15 minutes a day, every day, and they'll be doing 10 tricks in a few months' time. Don't rush it. Make it fun.

Eddie does sit, down, stay, come, heel, run, watch, around, come back, tunnel, spin, spin other way, shake, high 5, jump, walk on a platform, jump through a tire, touch his nose to a mark, crawl, table, teeter, bang you're dead, roll over, sore paw, dance. I lose track of them.

Wow some of your yorkies are total smarty pants! Emma knows a bunch of tricks-but these seem to be hard acts to follow! She can

BANG! (we pretend to "shoot" her and she rolls to one side and plays dead)

speak (we say Roo Roo)
find Daddy (or Mommy)
kiss
stay
wait
walk
jump
"go up there"-useful for getting her onto furniture, stairs, etc.
off-means off the couch, off the people, blanket, etc.

She answers questions-such as "Are you Hungry"...She will also copy us as to how many "Roo Roos" we ask her to do-so I can say "Emma, say Roo Roo Roo" and she'll bark 3 times. Funny!

And Milli...well, she is learning! She can sit, shake, down, high five, stay, wait, speak and "go up there"...and she knows "Find Emma"-she will go to the center of the house and bark for her, and then chase off in that direction to find her. So cute! Finally, something Milli can do that Emma can't!

Liar! Chanel knows how to fly through the air when you give the command hose! And you don't even have to say the word. It's magic. You bring out the hose, squirt it, and voila, flying Yorkie.

And I'm sure Miss Cheri has a few trucks up her furry sleeves as well.

Lol, I love that, getting them to come, is one of the most important "tricks."

Joey knows a bunch of tricks, since we took a trick training class. We do trick training every day, and I use all of his breakfast for training and half his dinner meal. I love this interaction with him, and it's wonderful seeing him master a new skill.

I didn't teach bang, you're dead the right way. I got him in a down and then helped him roll over on his side with my hand. It worked, but I've since heard that you should try to get him to do the tricks without touching them and forcing them into position.

To do it without using your hands, get them to go into a down, then hold a treat a little toward their back until they roll over on their opposite side trying to get it. Once on their side, treat and start giving the command you want to use, bang or whatever.
