Keely is 5 motnhs old and she knows. sit, stay, right paw, left paw, lie down, stand , Bow, come and she also knows how to do the weave poles in agility.. She is going to learn ALOT more tricks before im done with her..lol

I did pretty much the same thing Mike did to teach "bang". In my opinion, you have to start with "roll over" and with both of ours we just started gently rolling them over from a "down" position. Once they get the hang of that, we introduced "Bang", and just stopped them on their side instead of rolling all the way over. It's funny though-if Emma is really eager to get treats, she will do "bang" but get up right away, so I can't really tell the difference between that and roll over. Even if she just rolls over, it's a cute party trick

Bernie can come, sit, lay, roll over, leave it and play dead. I take my finger and shoot him and he flips over, or I can just tell him play dead. Bernie always come up to me and gets on his back to have his belly rubbed. I used this to my advantage my saying play dead and shooting him with my finger when he was on his back. Now, he does it on command. Baxter knows come and leave it. Bella.....bless her heart she just knows she's the princess!

Lol, what a sweet thing to say, notice I had to go to a class before we could teach any. Joey was the only dog in class, who in the beginning only knew one trick "kisses," but he dazzled them over in the end.

My pack knows the normal things like sit, stay, down, etc. They don't do tricks but have taught me a few like, Fetch a treat, speak, come, Pet me, etc.

I was a quick learner!

OMG....Can I send Teddi out there and you can teach her! How did you figure out how to teach him? Did you have a book or a video? All Teddi knows is sit, down, roll over and to back up (I tell her that when I open the door). I'm amazed at how many things Max knows!

Alfie sits when I say Sit with a treat in my hand, but I think its more from wanting to be relaxed while he gets his treat not because he wants to follow my directions... .....hehheee he is so spoiled~!
