| I can't believe how empty downtown LA's streets get at night. I used to work right next to the Aon tower in the background, and the area was bustling all day. But any time I had to stay late past 6:00PM or so it would be a ghost town when I walked out of my building.

| Yeah total ghost town! This is out my brother's window at his new apt. It's in the financial district so it's a nice neighborhood and not sketchy even at night. Can you imagine, his work is five miles away and still takes him 20 mins to get to work. That's why he moved out. He was in the suburbs w at my dad's house. Took him two hours to get to Beverly Hills and another two to get home. He was staying at work till 9 pm to avoid traffic.

| Dang that's still a 9 hour day though, and only 15 min break? That's crazy.

| Nah, that's only eight. I told my boss I'd much rather have the short lunch break. If I ate with my coworkers it was always an hour but I'd rather leave early so I mostly just grabbed something on the way or packed lunch to throw in the fridge.

| Day Trip to Mt Charleston We are at the extreme NW of the Vegas Valley so we benefit from cooler temps in the summer, and more chance of snow. Also we are a mere 30 mins from Mt Charleston. Here's my view as we were driving up. 23883653483_e2c56ea567_z.jpg And a few of Uni running around. 24484254826_3b400a793b_z.jpg Bf said she looks like Jillie here running in the snow. 24484253916_d802ed1665_z.jpg Toto is a wimp in the cold, and he's not really trained for boots. Even if he was, he wouldn't walk, so he's cozy in bf's jacket. The sun just so happened to hit his face. And Uni looks like she's tripping over a snowball. 24402152752_d30caa7eb0_z.jpg

| I put Uni up on this stump but she really didn't want to take pics. She wanted to run around. These were the best I got. Too bad bc the lighting was good. 24214879700_96379feee2_z.jpg 24402149332_13c3634dba_z.jpg She did end up losing a boot which I'm kinda bummed about since they are Epiks, but I could not find it anywhere! I think these boots work better for rain anyway. They don't stay on for snow. I gotta make her some elastic/velcro ones for snow.
