I don't think we have a thread where we can just share random pics, do we? Well, let's start one...bc there are so many photog enthusiasts on here.

Here in the desert, we almost never, ever have fog...so when we do, it's such a cool treat. I took this pic a few weeks back from our courtyard on a foggy morning...I kinda like the "mood" of it. I used some actions on it to get the effect it has...

LOL - found it on Twitter. It's John Wayne when he did some old TV Easter show as I recall the Tweet or website it linked to said. I had to copy and save it - John Wayne looks so forlorn and less than thrilled standing there in that creepy bunny suit! But it's funny to me for some weird reason - just makes me laugh.

LOL I just had to post a dog picture, Gucci! Then I learned a little more about edible mushrooms last Fall, the phone isn't the best for photos but they do fit here. Then a few weeks ago fishing in E WA from my car topper boat, caught some nice trout and Zippy was a trooper on the boat and even during the 20* night camping. In case ya didn't know, I fish for tuna solo from a 17' boat 35-50 miles off the coast of WA. This photo is last summer with ONLY about 16 fish I caught. My best day was 26 tuna in one day fishing solo!

Great idea for a thread Ann!

These two pictures were taken in 2014 on Oak Island in North Carolina. Our very good friend passed and we hurried down for the service, about 12 hours away. Very bitter sweet to see such beautiful sunrises and sunsets while celebrating our friend's life.

Great thread! Love the mood in your photo. It can be eerie/scary or very romantic. I didn't realize you don't get a lot of fog. We get quite a bit actually. Around here they say we'll get a substantial amount of rain 90-100 days after a fog. I caught this one of the sunrise through the fog a week or so ago and thought it gave an interesting feel too.

That sunrise pic is just beautiful...and you caught that bird in the pic at just the right moment...very poignant and special pic given your loss. Very bittersweet indeed.
