Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Important Need Help On Nutritional Supplement Hi everyone, can anyone tell me what they have found in a Liquid Nutritional Supplement to really be beneficial? I am looking for something that will benefit Jack. Through the years I have bought the liquid vitamins from the health food store and then the Noni Juice for him. They really never have helped him. I also bought the Vita Mix machine and use that a lot. Has anyone tried the Vemma Liquid Nutritional, Vitamins and Minerals? What about Mangoneese Juice? What have any of you taken in the supplement area to help you feel stronger and that you could actually say you benefited from taking it? Really appreciate any and all suggestions. Thanks, Patti |

| I've read a book by Dr. Russell Blaylock on anti-oxidants and how important they are for you and a whole lot of other things that where surprising...it was an interesting book.. http://www.blaylockreport.com/ If you want to check out vitamins to see if they contain contaminants or if they actually dissolve in your system there's a web site called Consumers Lab that tests these things...the site has a fee, I think there's a fee for 30 days and a fee for a year.... http://www.consumerlab.com/

I am really looking to find something to help Jack, none of the Dr.'s we've seen will suggest anything on this. What do they know about nutrition?????? The more we see them the more sadder I feel that they aren't more up on human's nutritional needs. Even the Parkinsons support group has not been any help in this area. Like Jack says many of the PD medicines have such awful side affects, sometimes one feels like they are poison. Jack tells his Dr. I am his drill Sgt. his Doc pats me on the back and says keep drilling, I am now looking into starting a web site on the internet for those with Parkinsons and their care givers, it is so much needed. Will keep checking back here. Please keep Jack in your prayers and everyone else afflicted with any neurological disease. To those that are struggling and coping with such, hang in there, one day our government will find it's means to provide cures or better treatment for you. Goodness knows our government is wasting away our precious tax dollars in so many ways, about time it helps those that need it and have worked so hard to help make this a great country, and have spread ourselves about the world in trying to help in other countries. Maybe if the world would put it's resources in trying to help man kind with all the different diseases then the people's of this world would be more helpful and more friendlier to one another. God Bless us all, Jack and Patti

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | It's difficult to know what to recommend without knowing more of what his meds are "leeching" from his system, what he's currently eating/not eating etcera. I think there are so many "scam" vitamins out there - i.e., liquid nutritionals that claim miracles and the best absorption and on an on. I think the best thing to do is find a vitamin brand/line that you trust and/or consult with a nutritionist who specializes in chronic health conditions. Try to do a free phone consult first to see if you think they have the knowledge you're looking for. I did a search for liquid nutritionals just now - and I can't say that any single one looks as good as they claim. Do you have a Whole Foods nearby? Perhaps someone there can recommend a particular brand you could stick with. I also think it's helpful to go to Barnes and Noble and just start digging through the various books about nutrition supplementation. I wish I could help more. Take care, Ann

Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Thanks to each of you replying Thanks BJ for the site, I will go look at that now. I ordered a month supply of Vemma today from my nephew. Have had several feedbacks on that so we will give it a try. Ann we have been to nutritionalists, etc, We just keep being told that the disease is such that we have to take each day as it comes, but in my heart I can't help but feel there is something else that I can be doing that will be benificial for him. Thanks again, Jack and Patti |

I tell you what if I thought for one minute it would help him, I definatly would give it a go. We sure won't be without Nutri-Cal for our furkids. I should get the Vemma within a week so hopefully he will benefit from it. By the way I got some new pens to see if they will do the writing on Papi's throw, sure wish I could draw the train you did for him. Your work is awesome, have you done anything lately? Gotta post something funny on his thread that Jack said tonight in doing a training trick with Baby Blessing
