It's difficult to know what to recommend without knowing more of what his meds are "leeching" from his system, what he's currently eating/not eating etcera.

I think there are so many "scam" vitamins out there - i.e., liquid nutritionals that claim miracles and the best absorption and on an on. I think the best thing to do is find a vitamin brand/line that you trust and/or consult with a nutritionist who specializes in chronic health conditions. Try to do a free phone consult first to see if you think they have the knowledge you're looking for.

I did a search for liquid nutritionals just now - and I can't say that any single one looks as good as they claim. Do you have a Whole Foods nearby? Perhaps someone there can recommend a particular brand you could stick with. I also think it's helpful to go to Barnes and Noble and just start digging through the various books about nutrition supplementation.

I wish I could help more. Take care, Ann
