| You don't know what SUNTEA is? You get a clear glass jug with a lid (in my case 1/2 gallon jar). Fill it full of cold water, pop the tea bags in put on a lid and stick it in the sun. In about two hours you have some of the best tea you will ever drink. I am an unsweetened ice tea girl, myself, but after the tea is brewed you sweet tea drinkers add the sweetener of your choice |

| We always have a jug of it going in the summer time. The best tea you will ever drink. I have even been known to make it in the winter time. As long as the sun is shinning. |

| That's funny. When was in the military, I would have my friends (Well in the military at 18 with no kids those girls were my Family, and I thank God for them!) But I would make SUNTEA all the time (I was stationed at Barksdale AFB in Louisiana). My girlfriends could have sworn that suntea was something that I thought of on the top of my head. I tried telling them that growing up in the South, you learn different way to keep the kitchen cool in the summer time. But it has been years since I made suntea, I think I may sit a pitcher out today if the weather permits!!! This thread has brought back a lot of childhood memories as well!

| I really had to laugh when I read your post! I make it all the time. I'm from the South orginally and after we moved here (Maryland) people kept asking why I had a gallon jug with tea bags sitting in the sun....I still have someone ask once in a while. I love it and make it as lot as the sun stays warm enough to do it.
