That's funny. When was in the military, I would have my friends (Well in the military at 18 with no kids those girls were my Family, and I thank God for them!) But I would make SUNTEA all the time (I was stationed at Barksdale AFB in Louisiana). My girlfriends could have sworn that suntea was something that I thought of on the top of my head. I tried telling them that growing up in the South, you learn different way to keep the kitchen cool in the summer time. But it has been years since I made suntea, I think I may sit a pitcher out today if the weather permits!!! This thread has brought back a lot of childhood memories as well!
