| Inked! Got my first tattoo...And now I'm addicted. This was my early and spontaneous Christmas gift from my husband. Next one is going to be Gizmo's paw print on my ankle. Ladies, let's see your ink!

| Your artist did a nice job! A few years back I wanted to get my girls' paw on my hip, but in California the dog paw is a huge gang sign!!!! While no one would ever mistake a tattoo on me as a gang tattoo. This is one of those things where I would just rather be safe than sorry! Lol!!! How painful was the inner wrist? Also, how long did that take? I only have one on my loooow back. Ok, ok. I'll say it... Trampstamp! Lol!!!! It's pretty flowers and I still love it. It took about 2 and 1/2 hours and didn't hurt that much. I just wish that every one that got tattoos 10 to 15 years ago didn't all get lower back! I hate that trampstamp stigma!!!

| Take pride in your tramp stamp! Never knew the dog paw was a gang sign, and that's the one I want next. I'd be badass in Cali! Anywho, the inner wrist didn't hurt at all. The only time it got "annoying" was the middle part of the wrist where the tendon is. But for being a delicate part of the body, the pain was very, very minimal if non-existent. However, with that being said, I did have natural child birth without an issue!

| I have 3 tattoos! One on my wrist, just like yours "Carpe Diem". One on my ankle (an anklet of sorts with flowers, vines and a butterfly) and the other is on the top of my foot (a star). I think tattoos can be done tastefully and yours looks good. Congrats.

| Me too! The only tattoo I've ever had was when the kids were little and we played with rub on tattoos.

| I wish people that didn't care for tattoos would just stay out of threads that are pro tattoo. For example I don't go on an American Idol thread and say how tacky I think the show is. Or perhaps a better example would be saying how certain clothes fit certain people are unflattering. I just skip it. That said, 99% of people who have tattoos have BAD ones. It does give all people with tattoos kind of a bad rep. But there are some that are amazing and done by truly talented artists. I had no idea about the paw print either and I'm from Ca. I wanted to get one too to commemorate Scrappy but just never did. Currently I have two. One across my shoulders which is huge and that was my first one. It hurt a lot over the blades. The healing was worse though. The one on my arm was a piece of cake. I really would like to get a hummingbird one. I love them and they remind me of my grandfather who was the coolest person ever. Again just never got around to it. I wouldn't know where to get it anyway.

| I thought at one time I MIGHT have a tiny one of a hummingbird....then I started taking notice of all the female patients in the hospital in their 70's and 80's with tats......I never realized women were getting tats that long ago....nothing cute or sexy about a baggy, saggy ink blob on a woman in her 70s and 80s,.....I know they are "the in thing" on the girls of today, I have cousins that sport them.....just nothing I ever considered sexy on a lady. They do look sexy on hunks in motor cycle gangs tho! |

| We will ALL get baggy and saggy. Don't think that those that do not have tattoos will not look old and saggy. By then, who the heck will care anyway? At that age, what skin will you show anyway? Perhaps some are comfortable with wearing tanks tops or short sleeves, maybe shorts down to the knees? Doesn't leave that much skin showing anyway.

| By then the last I care about is my black blob and saggy skin I'll be taking full advantage that I can't basically do what I want and blame it on being senile.
