| I could have used your help a few days ago, but I solved it myself. I misplaced my desktop and it had an address of users/owner/documents/desktop/desktop/desktop/...13 times. I finally figured out how to get it back to where it belonged. good to have some tech support on board. Welcome. |

| I am getting a lot of "threats" this evening, started around 6pm - some kind of recaptcha_ajax threat. I move them to the virus vault. But then my AVG disappeared from the tray. I restarted it and am running a scan now, so far it has found one threat - an HTML/Framer Any ideas???

| Just finsihed the scan - and this is what it found: "C:\Users\cookielady\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windo ws\Temporary Internet Files\Low\Content.IE5\19KS2B71\recaptcha_ajax[1].js";"Virus found HTML/Framer";"Moved to Virus Vault"

| Close all programs. Click Start, and then click Control Panel. Click Add or Remove Programs. In the list of currently installed programs, click Windows Internet Explorer 8, and then click Remove. Try this then run windows updates again, sometimes if a piece of software in manually installed instead through the update center website, it still thinks it needs to update it |
