Donating YT 11K Club Member | I feel like i don't have any girlfriends I wish i had a bunch of girlfriends i can go out with one night and just have a fun girls night. All my friends from h.s. are away doing their own thing at college, we still keep in touch but its not like we hang out very often. We occasionally get together but it's girls and guys, its just a big group of us but thats almost never except on holidays when they're visiting. And then there's a friend i have that is dating one of the guys from our group and then she acts like she can never be anywhere w/o him. I understand if she wants to be with him all the time, that's fine but don't act like you're gonna die w/o him for 1 hr. I mean i have a bf for almost 3 yrs now, which he is friends also with them and i dont act insane like that. A girl's night out is good for you every once in a while and i havent had one in a LONG while! lol i feel like im whiney. I'm the whiney girl with no girlfriends tonight

| Oh don't feel bad. I wish I had a group of friends and be like the Sex and the City girls. Life is so busy it's hard to get everyone together at the same time. |

| I'm only 20 (not sure how old you are)... after highschool all of my frienships pretty much hit the drain. I was still friends with one girl and we started cosmetology together... not long after that she got married & just had a baby last night. It's nuts.

YT 500 Club Member | I am only 20 too and my friends either went away from college, have families now, boyfriends who they can not get away from , or husbands. I know what you mean completely. I am so happy tomorrow I will get to hang with one of my best friends. I told my mom it seems like I went out more when I was the ages 14-17 with my friends and now that I don't have a curfew no one can go anywhere.

| aaww hun..I know what you mean though..my hubby is forces so I have lead a pretty lonely life to be honest, its hard to find decent trustworthy girlfriends you can confide in so I tend to keep myself to myself..I don't often go out with girlfriends and I admit it would be fun to be able to to that sometimes..I wish I lived near my twin sister..I know that I would spend all my time with her and wouldn't need the company of other girls...but most of the time i'm happy to just spend all my spare time with my hubby..we have been together 15 years. and hey..if I lived closer I would be happy to drag you out for a drink!

| I totally understand where you are coming from and I don't think you're whiney at all...probably because I say the same thing all the time! lol. I'm 21 and I went to college in a totally different state than most of my friends...and it's so hard to find girlfriends that are REALLY trustworthy...most are competely FAKE! lol. And I'm totally guilty of spending all my time with my boyfriend... Jen

| Don't feel bad... I know where your coming from. I married at 19, only 5 months after hs graduation. My best friend had a baby a month after my wedding. My other "best" friend unknowingly called my grandfather an inappropriate name at my wedding and I haven't talked to her since. All the other girls I used to hang out with are more into going out, drinking and partying. I'm married and have a full time job... I just can't risk losing that to parties and stuff... not only that, it just never was that fun to me anyways. I've also had life experiences that have forced me to grow up faster than most people my age. Come to VA and hang out with me! Bring the yorks! I could enjoy some female company... we're about the same age-ish I think.

| I understand where you are coming from. It is hard to find good friends. I have gone through a lot. And it is so hard when you find someone you think is going to be a great friend and then they continue to let you down and blow you off. It used to really upset me, but I just let those ones leave if I have to do 95% of the work! A lot of my high school/university friends were like this. I have a good group of friend now. We are all between 22-24 years of age. But they are the ones that stuck around through the years so I have weeded out the unworthy! In fact, 3 of my 4 good girlfriends I have known since I was 4 or younger! So...that is how I know that they are going to last! Then the other one is actually a friend I met through one of my childhood friends and we click so well...like we are the same person split in two! I sometimes feel like some of them aren't as invested in our friendship anymore...but when I really think about it I realize it is because we have different schedules. They work evenings and weekends and I work a full work week and have evenings and weekends off. I am lucky to have a good group, but we can't always get together at the same time anymore because of work/school schedules and boyfriends. I generally see them one on one now. Things change when you start adding other things to your plate! I hope you find some good girlfriends to hang out with. It really is a nice thing to have. Woman are great!!!

| I think it's harder when you're a college student and live off campus too.

| I completely understand also. I was 19 when I had my daughter, and I am getting married this July to her father. I never really do anything. School work and home. Sometimes it gets kinda lonely.

LUV my 3 Furrs & Alex Donating Member | I totally understand, I am 27 and I have no girlfriends here in the UK mainly because I live quite far from the city and I don't drive!!! Sometimes I would love to have a few girlfriends to go out for awhile bt I do enjoy the company of my hubby...so I feel I don't miss that much by not having girlfriends...

| I am in the same boat...I am beginning to have some friends after being in Canada for about 2 years but not girlfriends that I can have a night out with. Everyone is too busy with their lives, especially having kids. Most of my friends are starting to have kids so they really don't have much time for anything else. I feel blessed that I have a pc and am able to log in to YT though. Let me feel like at least I have a few friends around.
