| That is very cute!!! Thanks for posting it. I'll have to say that both Rex and Rowdy use a similar strategy to get me up (without the meowing and bat, of course). They both "hit" me with their front paws, while sitting on top of me!!! And they will put their paw on my face to try to wake me up. It was so funny...the other morning, for whatever reason, they decided to wake up my hubby - he does NOT get up with them, I do, so why they decided to wake him up, I don't know. He has a very severe heart condition and does not sleep well, so he usually sleeps till 9:00-10:00AM. I"m up early, and they know it so I have no idea why they decided to try to wake him up. Anyway, when they start trying to get him up, he puts the pillow over his head. I see him do that, but I don't get up right away. In a minute or so, I look over at him and both Rex and Rowdy are sitting on the pillow on his head! It was sooooo funny. About that time, I decided I'd better get up!

| LOL. I know a lot of people here probably have cats as well I don't even need an alarm. One of my cats goes off at 5:30 every morning, INCLUDING WEEKENDS! He is really, really loud. It isn't that he wants food, because they have feeders. He just knows that normal getting-up time is 5:30so he wants the people up at that time every day, work or no work. He apparently thinks hubby and I are supposed to disregard the fact that he goes back to sleep after he nags us out of bed at the crack of dawn on weekends. Then of course the dogs start barking at him meowing since all four of them sleep with us, so between them bouncing all over the waterbed barking at him and him continuing the meowing, sometimes it's easier to just go ahead and get up. Blah. I'm not a morning person. It's forced on me by my pets. |
