I don't even need an alarm. One of my cats goes off at 5:30 every morning, INCLUDING WEEKENDS! He is really, really loud. It isn't that he wants food, because they have feeders. He just knows that normal getting-up time is 5:30so he wants the people up at that time every day, work or no work. He apparently thinks hubby and I are supposed to disregard the fact that he goes back to sleep after he nags us out of bed at the crack of dawn on weekends. Then of course the dogs start barking at him meowing since all four of them sleep with us, so between them bouncing all over the waterbed barking at him and him continuing the meowing, sometimes it's easier to just go ahead and get up. Blah. I'm not a morning person. It's forced on me by my pets.
