| Toby is a little dollbaby! As for his ears, Yorkie ears are "supposed" to stand up -- BUT some of them need to be taped up to train them to stand. YT is full of Yorkies with one or both ears that flop -- and they are just as adorable as the furbabies whose ears sit up. I'm not an ear expert -- my little guy has awlays had "uppies," but I am sure there's someone on here who can give you advice on taping his ears if you want them to sit up. You may check with his breeder, also, who might have some advice. At any rate -- he's a cutie!

| Flopper....lol LOL...Love the term flopper....I think I will leave Toby's ears alone....they are part of his personality. He is a little dickens....he brings me his ball, drops it on my foot and barks til I throw it. He has quite a unique personality....I just love him. Thanks for the ear advice!!! |

| My Madeleine is 4 months old and she has floppy ears. People gave me advice on how to get them to stand up but I decided if they didn't stand up on their own then they just weren't meant to! I love her floppy ears and I love Toby's too!!

| keeping the hair shaved off of their ears helps too..some yorkies ears are heavier than others and they need more help..so shaving helps, you could even use masking tape on the ears too for several days..they just look funny walking around with taped ears! http://hstrial-arobertson5.homestead.com |

| Pippy has her ears down, when I first got her I was concerned about it, but then others here on YT showed me thier ears down Yorkies, and actually looking through very vintage paintings of Yorkies, many have thier ears down through the ages.....it actually makes Pippy look quite cute I think!

| I'm no expert either...but I love the floppy eared Yorkie look. You could try gently massaging them to help give them strength...But to be honest I love them all just the way they are. My first Yorkie's ears were floppy, and if I may say, he was beautiful. Winston's ears stand straight up, which I think is cute...but either way they are both Yorkies and I love them both.
