| Say hello to my little friend Hi all, new member here. Wanted to introduce my little friend. It took me ~10 years to muster the courage to get a new dog. My last was a toy poodle. I had doggy-sat a few yorkies and settled on one. I had researched Yorkies for a little bit and wanted to get one that was AKC, plain black & tan, and a good representative of the breed. I was going to completely avoid the small ones and parti/biewers. After seeing several, I completely fell in love with this little guy, even though he has white accents and several parti yorkies in his family tree. It looks like he has double highlights in his hair. I'm a guy and I get stopped everywhere I take him - kids, adults, women, even guys and teenagers. I was once stopped by a thugged out little teenager who wanted to pet him. LOL My wife was not a "dog"-person and has also fallen in love with this little furball. She even taught him how to give kisses. Well here is my little friend at 8 months (9 now). |

| Welcome to you and your "little friend". What is his name? He looks like what some call a red leg Yorkie. I'm happy you found your new son.

| Too stinking cute! What's the little guy's name? Btw I thought you were a guy by your writing style before I got to the part where you said you were a guy. Yorkies are total chick magnets, as I'm sure you will come to find. |

| very cute little guy you have there, welcome to YT. More single guys should know about the sex appeal of the yorkie. I call them chick magnets. About 28 years ago when I got my first one Reggie I took him everywhere and to a lot of single club outings. Some of my guy friends used to beg me to borrow him because they realized if they were walking him women just seemed gather around them to see the dog

| Mookie! That's adorable! We'd love to see some pics. Let us know if you need help on how to upload. This forum limits the size of the pics to 200k.
