Hi all, new member here. Wanted to introduce my little friend.
It took me ~10 years to muster the courage to get a new dog. My last was a toy poodle. I had doggy-sat a few yorkies and settled on one.
I had researched Yorkies for a little bit and wanted to get one that was AKC, plain black & tan, and a good representative of the breed. I was going to completely avoid the small ones and parti/biewers. After seeing several, I completely fell in love with this little guy, even though he has white accents and several parti yorkies in his family tree. It looks like he has double highlights in his hair.
I'm a guy and I get stopped everywhere I take him - kids, adults, women, even guys and teenagers. I was once stopped by a thugged out little teenager who wanted to pet him. LOL
My wife was not a "dog"-person and has also fallen in love with this little furball. She even taught him how to give kisses.
Well here is my little friend at 8 months (9 now).
