| Yes, I know that....she looks like a baby to me. I think she might be a bit confused?? At least that is what I was hoping. I had a huge one that used to come at night and upset the apple cart here..this is the first one I have seen in the daytime. It is pretty small actually.

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | I also have a polly and she was a baby coming out during the day. I don't thinks she knew any better. She loved the cat food i put out for the wild cats. Anyways when the yorkies got out with her she would curl up and play dead like they do. Then when I brought them in she would wait a few minutes and go on her way. This went on all winter. Have not seen her for awhile now so maybe she has figured out she is suppose to be out at nights. She never was aggressive towards the dogs. So I left her alone. She lived under the deck all winter

| That's pretty crazy looking. Yesterday a mongoose ran thru my backyard, and my doggies were hunting for it for several hours.

| Yikes! I would be more concerned about a mongoose than a possum.

| I've seen mongoose run across the roads etc., but never in my yard. They look like a long ferret. I don't think they are harmful, just startled us.

| I just love the first picture of your dogs "hunting." I can hear them barking, just by looking at the picture. haha The second picture is amazing of the little fellow. How close did you have to get to get that picture? And how in the world did you get your pups back in the house? Absolutely and how funny.

| I don't like using this word but I HATE possums! (Sorry Polly) They just freak me out...giant nasty rats! Ugh field mice and rats... I can so relate to this post a week ago or was it two...anyways I was telling the BF who got in later in the evening about the cat sitting on the fence driving the dogs crazy as he pulled up into the driveway and how it took off...he goes. "huh I just saw a skunk run from the back yard area across the street!" Suddenly I realized the black cat did seem to have a white spot on it's back as it turned and went...oh and those raccoons-they aren't even afraid of me! What to do about them, other than realize the neighbors outdoor dog usually alerts us to them and I always go out the door first...of course I give rabies vacs due to the critters that visit our suburban neighborhood yard...
