| My First Yorkie - Bentley 9 weeks old in these pictures (just taken today and yesterday). Bentley Pic 1 Bentley Pic 2 Bentley Pic 3 Bentley Pic 4 How many inches tall should he be at 9 weeks? We were told he was 'teacup' (yes I know there is no teacup/mini/tiny). We don't know his weight yet as I am taking him to the vet in the next few days for his first checkup. I'm just wondering if he is of typical height/weight. I'll post the weight as soon as I get it. Thx :-) Brittany

| He's adorable!! I love the little boy yorkies.....they have such personalities!! There really is no way to guarantee what weight your yorkie will be as an adult. There are charts that can help you guestimate, but the best way is to look at his parents and grandparents. |

| Hi Britt, Welcome to YT. Bentley is totally adorable and you are gonna have so much fun with him! I noticed in pic number 3 he had his lead hooked to his collar?? Please consider a harness. I know he is probably not doing too much pulling at this point but soon he will be. They have such delicate lil tracheas. We are looking forward to many more pics and watching Bentley grow up! |

| I look at feet size in puppies. From the photos, Bentely looks pretty petite.

| Welcome to YT! Bentley is adorable. Their adult sizes are SO hard to estimate when they are so young. As an example, my Betty weighed 2 1/4 lbs. at twelve weeks...she is now 21 months old and weighs 12 lbs!! And my Juju weighed around 2 lbs. at twelve weeks...she is now 15 months old and 4 lbs.!! So...you never can tell!!!

| Bentley Congratulations!!!! He is just adorable!! enjoy your new baby! he looks like he will be very tiny...so cute! (I also agree..please get him a little harness. a collar around his little tiny neck is not safe for little babies... ) Ree |
