| Keely's new haircut! I've had a very tramatic day today. I brought Keely to work with me yesterday because she was supposed to go and get groomed. Half hour before she was supposed to go the groomer called and cancelled on me and rescheduled for today. Took her there today at noon. Told the woman what I wanted done. I told her 3 times to not cut her ears. Just trim off around her face do not cut her ears whatever you do. They've been floppy since she was a puppy and it just fits her personality. Do not cut them. Went to lunch with my love Timmy and Tim called her to remind her to not cut the topknot too. We have been growing that since she was a pup. She said that she hadn't gotten to that part yet that she just finished cutting off all the hair on her ears and shaving them. I bust out crying at taco bell where we were having lunch. I was so upset. I know the hair is going to grow back but it just fits her so well and now this woman who I told mind you 3 TIMES not to cut her ears did so anyways. I've been balling my eyes out since like 12:30 this afternoon. The woman calls Tim and tells him that she is ready to be picked up and was wondering if he was picking her up because she didn't want me to come there and cause a scene. Tim told her that I was coming there and that I wouldn't yell at her. I wanted to yell at her so bad but I didn't. I just kept crying. I go to pick her up and the woman is trying to hug me and tell me it was miscommunication. I was like how can you not understand or even hear what I was saying. The owner of the shop gave me a dirty look. I was like what are you looking at me like that for. I said this is my child, my life! Dont you dare look at me that way. The lady goes there is no charge for her today. I was like yea ur right cause I didn't plan on paying for her in the first place. You made the mistake not me. Needless to say she's still my sweet little Keely Jo! But I'm still very upset about her ears being cut. I will not go back to that groomer ever! Sorry this is so long but I had to rant about it makes me feel better now. Here are some pictures of Keely before I took her to the groomer and then after the groomer. Enjoy! 1. Keely laying on my desk at work. 2. working so hard she had to take a nap. 3. Look at how adorable her face is with her ears like that. 4. Her new haircut. Don't get me wrong she still looks adorable but her ears were a great part of her personality.

| I'm sorry you had to go through that, I had the same thing happen (the groomer didn't listen to what we wanted done after going there for nearly 2 years now) and shaved my babies to the skin . It can be really traumatizing honestly! Of course your baby still looks beautiful, she is just precious. |

| I'm sad that the groomer did not listen to your repeated instructions and that the cut was definately not what you had asked for. But, this being said I think that Keely looks great with her trimmed ears and it makes her look quite "sassy"! |

Our old groomer did that. Aww your poor babies! We were going to her for over a year and then last time I let her cut Keely she shaved her to the skin. That was last October and I hadn't had her cut until now because she didn't need it and then I get another yet tramatixing experience. Geez! Why do they do that? Do I have to write you instructions on what I want done. I would do it myself but I'm too afraid that I would mess it up really bad. Thank you though!!

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | She is a doll either way but I have to say I love the long hair on floppy ears. It will grow back. Learning to groom at home is the way to go. I do all mine and feel good I get the cut I want.

| She's so cute! At least the groomer didn't make you pay! They should have paid attention. I've heard/seen too many horror stories of groomers so I cut my babies hair myselfI had to practice so I didn't butcher him.

| Oh my gosh.. ur gonna hate me but I think she looks ADORABLE with her ears cut! I LOVE HER! I hope you have gotten used to it. I have a boy who has floppy tips to his ears like your little one. The groomer never tipped his ears, finally I decided to do it to see what his ears really looked like. I called hm my butterfly bc his ears had so much hair when he 'perked' them they looked like butterfly wings. I was nervous that he would look not right with his ears tipped, but OMG... when I picked him up at the groomers I was stunned! He looked even more beautiful! Hes going to have his ears cut from now on, but it does take a few days to get used to seeing your baby without all that hair! I love it though, hes ALWAYS perking his ears now! He never did before because they were just too heavy Im sure!

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Awwwww Rachael I'm in tears for you (sorry I'm a sap) But I know how much you LOVED Keely's ears. They were "her". But you know what? She is still adorable either way They will grow and I know I'd be upset too. Dang, and you JUST found this groomer for Mav and thought you'd find the right one this time. Darn it - I'm sorry! She is still a doll baby Hugs!!!!!!! |
