awwwwwwwwwwwwwww.. i agree with everyone! shes sooooooooooooooooo cute either way! I love floppy ears but I also LOVE how Gracie's ears perk up when she hears daddy pull into the drive way! good luck finding a good groomer!

I would have been very angry and upset as well if someone cut the hair on Destiny's ears, it is a huge part of her look that I love about her. That is why I do all the grooming myself.

She is still cute. I know what you mean about the ears. My London has floppy ears and I would kill if someone cut them and they stood up!! Maybe you can like reverse tape them so that they can't stand up until her hair grows back.

Awww thank you Brenda, I just started crying again reading your post. I loved her ears so much it was so her. But the way her hair is cut now is starting to grow on me, but I have so many pictures around my house with her ears like that, that it is so hard not to cry. And at my work too. I have pictures hanging on my file cabinet at work. And I dont' want people to think that I"m going over the top but it just really hurts.

Maverick was so excited to see her today when she came home. Today was the first day we left him home by himself and he did really well. He keeps trying to get on top of Keely and smell her ears its too funny. They are very entertaining. LOL

Thank you to all of you that have made comments I really do appreciate it. For those of you that groom your babies do you have any advice to give me on doing it myself. I'm just really afraid that I would butcher it and they would look like a hot mess. Is there a certain type of sheers I should use if I do decide to groom them myself? I appreciate it everyone!!

They are still a little bit floppy but she cut off all the beautiful hair that was on them. Her hair was like black and like a golden blonde and a lighter blonde on her ears. It was beautiful and the evil groomer cut it all off. I don't think that it will grow back that way. I know the black would have grown out eventually but I wasn't ready for it to be gone yet. If you look at the pictures of her before you can tell in her face all the different colors and she's just beautiful. Plus when her ears were like that with all the hair her face was a shape of a heart. My little heart!

I'm so sorry that the groomer did that to your baby I've read so many stories like yours! It makes me scared to get my babies groomed. Daisy has only been groomed once since she's been with us and it turned out fine. Abby is about to be groomed for the first time. I'm nervous as heck that she'll come out looking like a chihuahua!

Keely is still gorgeous with or without her long hair on her ears.

Keely looks really great with her trimmed ears and it makes her look sexy and with that puppy look. I am sorry the groomers didnt listen but my own opinion...She looks CUTE!

Thank you to everyone! I feel so much better today and Keely is doing much better today as well. Her new look is growing on me. So will see how things go. Can't wait to go home and see my babies!!!

I'm sorry that happened to you. I've had it happen to me the opposite. I ask the groomer, don't forget to cut the nails and hair on my Dashunds feet. She never does it. I just have been so scared to bring Aiden. I would not be happy if Keely was mine. You are the customer. Listen to the paying customer. Word of mouth is the best advertisement. My brother takes his dog to the same groomer all the time. He has Chelsie his yellow lab cut down for the summer. He usually thins her out and does ear,nails,and all that. Matt picks her up the other day, not cut at all!!!! He took the day off to get it done and wash her bedding etc. They are either too busy or they don't listen. I always write my groomer a note now. I also copy it. It's sad to have to go that far,but honestly,you get less for more, everwhere it seems. It's so discouraging. My little guy is too young,but he's so energetic,I don't think I could do his nails and coat. LOL She's beutiful, but she does'nt look too happy either

That is awful. I'm sorry about your doggies and ur brothers dog. Why would u take the dog to the groomer and the groomer not do anything. Thats weird. I feel now if I do take them to the groomers I"m going to have to write down instructions so this doesn't happen again. Or i'm gonna have to learn myself. I asked in a previous post to those that groom their own babies what type of sheers should I use and any advice I could get.

I am so sorry you had to deal with a grooomer who doesn't have ears to hear you with, LOL. It had to be frustrating. But at the same time, I think Keely looks gorgeous before AND after her haircut Good thing about hair, is it does grow back. Keely is beautiful in both styles. At least the groomer knew enough to not try to charge for the grooming

Ah....I would have been mad too. Keely in the before pic looks like a "teenager" to me and the after pic she looks like a little toddler girl. I do love her floppy ears.....So cute.

My Rudy is in a puppy cut all the time, so I never get to see "floppy ears".
