| Help on X-Pen!!! I need to find an X-Pen for the kids and want to do it today, but am not sure if the bars are wide enough for my little ones. What good is it if they can just walk through the bars? Anyway I was looking at this one, but maybe I need something else? Dennis is 3 lbs now, and Sahara is 1.3 and will probably be 2 ½ pounds full-grown. http://www.google.com/url?sa=L&ai=B-...ieg2ew3Bx44tU= |

| I used a similar since our girl was 2.5 lbs and it works fine. The spacing is very small

| I have an 8-panel similar to the diagram. The bars are quite close together, no way to get close to an escape. Gracie was 1.8 lbs. when I first got her and it held her just fine. Call the company and ask how far apart the bars are just to be safe. You can also buy these at PetCo, maybe PetsMart. Buying in person you can see for yourself how far apart the bars are, and ask the sales associates if you still need reassurance.

| Wire mesh: 1 1/2" x 6". OK, they must mean 6" high. I think this will work and I like the review and how travel savy it is. I think I am going to order it, maybe I should order 2 so they have plenty of room? |

| This is the x-pen I have. I have two, a 24 inch and 30 inch. I also bought from this seller and he/she is good. Recieved mine within a week. Very good seller. They are also the cheapest I've found.. http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-48-Exercise-...QQcmdZViewItem

If they are small, yes there is room. I don't leave them in it only if I'm busy and can't watch them. If you are wanting them to be able to run a little and play a lot, then two would work nicely. You can lock two together very easily. I find most of the time, mine just sleep in their beds and don't play until I let them out. They fold up and have a handle. They are also big enough for my puppies when we have them.
