i'm not sure about the reputation of that particular breeder and they sure do have A LOT of puppies for sale at once, which to me is a red flag. but one thing i do want to caution against is jumping to conclusions. putting a puppy up for sale doesn't necessarily mean the puppy will be shipped/delivered immediately. i don't see anything wrong with starting to screen and accept potential buyers/forever families before the puppy is ready for delivery and then deliver the pups at a later date when they are fully weaned.

I am not saying that he isn't a crook but I didn't get the impression that he was selling them that young. Just looked like he was showing the pup from day one. He sure does have a lot of puppies and that would also bother me.

As a fellow Yorkie lover I want to know if there is something we can do. I did a search on Jeff Dane on here and there were numerous threads about how sick his puppies are when they go home with their new families etc.... Is there anything we can do to get the word out there even more beyond YT? I think that if we all get together and do something people like him would have a more difficult time making money preying on other people and these poor furbabies.

I am not sure but what he is doing sound illegal to me. Has anyone in Dallas contacted animal control just to have them take a look at him? Also, I know here in the Washington, DC area we have several clubs for Yorkshire Terriers and other breeds I would call them. Lastly, maybe we can reach out to the AKC (that might be a stretch), they might want to know if he is selling puppies that are AKC registerable and not taking care of them. I just think it's such a terrible thing that someone is allowed to do this, we can all help these poor babies.

My good "old school vet" that I went to see this morning for a 2nd opinion on my little boy's condition told me..." that is how he gets away with this crap.....he lives way out of the city limits"......get where I am going here?

I am so glad I went for the second opinion with him this morning before going and forking out 600.00 for an ultrasound and consultation with this specialist that the first vet pushed me off to........There is no need for me to do that, I can clearly see in the xrays myself that his little heart is enlarged......@*(#_$
Come to find out, the vet that wanted me to go to this Texas A&M specialist , is a share holder in the clinic.........just like some people doctors pass patients off to their "buds" for this test or that test......it is just a rip off. There is nothing that can be done for my baby, NOTHING! They just want me to pay for their research???? I don't think so!
Plus, after being told all this today......we ( my old vet and I ) are going to keep a watchful eye on this and treat it as it is needed, and he said "aggressively if needed".......? I am so mad, sad.......just everything sucks today!

I am so sorry you and your little furbaby are going through this. I just can't believe there is nothing that can be done. I guess each state or jurisdiction can pass the laws regarding animals. That just saddens me to know that this is going on. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help. Or if you know of anything we can all do as animals lovers to prevent this from continuing to happen. I will pray for you and your baby.

i'm a little confused. are you saying you had purchased a puppy from that website and he was sick. that the breeder sold you and regularlly sells sick puppies? that's a little different statement from your original post.

Thanks for the prayers, we sure need them! I tell ya, I had already ordered him a ton of little harness vests and matching belly bands......all with his little name on them.
I am just sick about it......but; I will just love the dickens out of him till whenever and whatever. I will also pray to GOD for these other little baby yorkies that creep buys from other puppy mill breeders.........he puts them in a dress and up next to a can of soda, takes a picture and slaps a hefty price on their poor little SICK heads.
I have got to pray right now cause I am not thinking very nice thoughts , I really must get this anger and sadness out of me. I know that there is a purpose in all this, just wish I could save all those other babys........he will never stop what he is doing, making too much money on fools like me...........ooohhhhhhhhhhhh

Yes, I bought 2 sick pups from him. The bigger pup is fine now, after treatment........but the little guy is very sick and found out Friday , he has an enlarged heart. You must understand, I have been in the vets office since I got these puppies. I had no idea how sick the pups were in my original post, this has been an ongoing ordeal and I am worn out.......tapped out, you name it.......this person is BAD NEWS.

I have never looked into the "Jeff Dane" situation, but you are saying that he buys up puppies and resells them? If so that is unspeakable!

I also have one other question: Were your puppies shipped to you or did you pick them up straight from this Jeff Dane?

YES......that is exactly what he does. He told me point blank that "HE" had 1200 females..............bullS#@$..........come to find out, he buys pups from yorkie breeders all over the place and makes out like he breeds them all.....He is a crook, the pups are sick and exposed to no telling what. I am just the messenger here with first hand knowledge. No, I didn't have them shipped. I picked the pups up (meeting place)..and for my personal reasons some info I am keeping to myself for the time being. This is because there is ongoing "trouble-shooting" going on with all this mess. Please , just take my word for it, I will tell all when I can!

This particular site andperson has been disscussed on her before causing heated discussion. He is not worth anyones time so all I can say is his partices are sickning.
