Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | three times is a charm? Okay, my new neighbor just walked by with 3 yorkies... I am so jealous, so much more to love. All of you that have multiple pups, were you happier with just 1? My Jazzzzzz pays so much attention to me, I hope that I am not being selfish, and thought maybe she would like a friend. Was your life better with 1 furry friend, or many? I seriously want another one

| Macy was 3 when I brought Molly home. Macy went everywhere with me but now that Molly has come into our lives it's harder to take 2 so they both stay home. They get along but don't sleep together or play that much together. I once went to a pet psychic (I know, don't judge me) and she told me Macy wants things like they used to be before Molly came and she enjoys just her and I doing things together. Don't get me wrong.....I'm so glad I got Molly because she is a little goofball and so loving. I know it's tempting to want more than 1 because they are so cute but if your dog's world would be turned upside down by getting another dog, think things through before you make that final decision. The pet psychic never told me how Molly was feeling about having Macy in her world. If I go back, I need to find out.

YT 1000 Club Member | I have 3 Yorkies. Only 2 are actually mine, as one is my daughter's, but since she lives at home we have 3 here. I started with Teek. He was 9 years old when he came to me in January and he loved the one on one attention I gave him. I took him everywhere with me that I could. He spent 4 months being my baby. Then we got the puppies (siblings) and at first I thought I broke Teek's heart. He wouldn't come near me at first. He wouldn't go near the puppies. He just stayed on the back of the couch and even if I would take him for a walk alone or take him downstairs to watch tv with me he didn't want to be with me. However, after a few weeks the puppies intrigued him so much he started following them around. Once they learned not to pounce on him so much they started to get along. He spends the most time with my puppy and they sleep on my bed together and honestly Teek is a happier Yorkie than he was a month before I got the puppies, even though he was living a pretty good life with me. Not all dogs adapt that well to new puppies, but Teek is younger acting and happier. I still give him one on one time and love on him a lot.

I wanted to go to a pet psychic when Brandi (RIP) was sick. I took her to mulitple vets trying to get a diagnosis. I wanted her to tell the pet psychic where the pain was so I could tell the vets. Unfortunately the psychi wasn't taking any new clients and I didn't want to use an online one. | |

| WARNING! DO NOT FALL INTO THEIR TRAP! I had Bubba for only a couple of months when it started. Then a friend asked me to take a rescue puppy. Oh sure I'd love another one. Now I'm wondering what it would be like to get a puppy. IT'S A TRAP I TELL YOU! They are too cute to resist. One look into those eyes and you don't remember what happened. You wake up at home with another dog

| My two really get along ok but don't "love" each other. As Abby grew up she tries to be the boss and honestly she is not smart enough for Ziva. When we add my daughters yorkie in the mix for the summer everyone gets a little edgy. Maybe I would try a male/female pair ... |

YT 1000 Club Member | I only allow one female in my pack! I have 3 male dogs. I have a 9 year old Yorkie, a yorkie puppy and my husband's 5 year old English Setter. All 3 are male. My daughter has a female Yorkie puppy, the only girl in the house. I find it more peaceful. Now, some people can make several females work in their house. If you can be alpha female you can probably handle it. I am alpha in my house, but so far Raksha has not challenged me. I find the easiest is a male and male pair or a male and female pair, or a female and more than one male works good for me. Some people feel differently though.

Maddie was her husband's dog that he got as a puppy. About a year after he brought Maddie home he died in their barn. The psychic told my friend "Maddie wants to know what happened to the man that brought her home.....she misses him." No way did this woman know her husband died...she still wears her wedding ring. Her husband also drove a pick up truck. "Maddie wanted to know why she didn't get to ride in the truck anymore." Soon after her husband died, she sold the pick up truck. She also hit a few more things that spooked us out. It definitely was worth the money I spent. It was intriguing to say the least.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | thank you Karen Thank you Karen, I never thought about that, I do take my dog with me to breakfast, to the supermarket, and many other places. You are so right, I would probably have to leave her home!!! I appreciate your insight, Thank you Kathy Quote:

| Yea Teddy loves my grandmas outside male cat (he humps him mainly) I'm considering getting him a puppy once we are on our own that'd be so nice for him I see the way he's comfortable with the cat he wants a friend but a little less than 5 years we will be on our own and I don't want him being alone all the time at his adult age (he'd be about 6 then) so I think a little girl would be a nice companion for both of us! Just as I read this thread he begged me to sit in the floor and "rough" play which is him biting me and I rolling and pinning him imagine if he had a friend to do this with him!

| Several years ago I had a pack of 3, all females, all 3 years apart, when the 3rd was gotten my two older girls treated her as "the baby" soooo, "the baby" "tried" to be the boss, the alpha lol. There was one alpha. ME, lol. They got along great, never a fight or growl ever passed between them, their food bowls were lined up, each knew her spot and they ate side by side. although they LOVED each other when I sat to watch TV, there they were, cuddled up against me. I LOVED my girls. I walked all 3 together twice a day, before I left for work and when I returned home from work, and I can't count the times I had to scoop all 3 up when a strange dog was approaching us and who was arguing to be the first to do a meet and greet lol, and these were not tiny babies, one weighed 9 Lbs the two older were 13 lbs. They came every where with me, holiday dinner at families house was always "and bring the girls" lol, like I would leave them home lol. It was extra work packing "their things" food bowls, treats, toys" but I never felt it was extra work because I loved them so much, knew what I needed to take, it was just natural to me. Now that I have only one fur kid and I have to pack for him when we go visit is when I realized it was extra work for the 3. I say GO FOR IT. I cannot tell you how many nights I would not watch TV because my 3 girls were more entertaining then anything on TV. To watch them play and zoom after each other was just too funny and so cute. In the beginning you "may" feel the extra work until you get use to two, then it just becomes a natural thing.

| 2 is twice the love and twice the fun . . . but as noted above, it is more challenging to take 2 on outings. Twice the grooming and twice the vet bills, but twice as many Yorkie kisses. My boys do not self entertain, so I have 2 faces always looking to me.

| I've had 3 male dogs before. They fight. I have 2 females and one male. The 2 females fight but Moki is alpha dog. The owner should always be alpha no matter what. But 3 dogs is harder. Not easier. More grooming. More money for Vets. And whatever else. Takes more of your time every day fr teeth brushing poop clean in ect. If you are working full time it will take more of your free time. 2 I never notices much more work. But 3 yes takes more time. They want ppl time not dog time. But what I do find I use to exercise Moki when he was the only dog. But I fed him less. Now I have 3 I need to feed alot more. Because they constant play in spurts...So that way is good. More play. But 10% is dogs play with each other 20% they fight. 70% they want ppl lap time. That being said I think 2 dogs is always worth it if you have the cash . Doesn't really impact much more in time. 3 dogs I notice...For me and my dogs anyways |
