| Why do dogs tilt their head Momo does this all the time when I'm talking to him (the other 3 not so much, but they're listening too). I ran into this while googling & found it very fun & interesting. Enjoy! An Adorable Mystery: Why Do Dogs Tilt Their Heads? - Terribly Terrier

| Laddy tilts his head a lot when you talk to him, Kyra very seldom does and neither did Lolo. Hmmm maybe males do this more lol. Either way I think it is adorable.

| Interesting. Both of my girls do it...Luma usually if I'm talking directly to her or asking her a question, and lots of times if I say a word she has never heard before or doesnt understand what I'm saying, she will tilt her head (with accompanying growl-chirp). Rosie tilts her head big time if we fluctuate the pitch of our voices, but really deep voices scare her so we don't do it to her often. It is cute how pointy and upright her ears go, and her head goes so crooked! Pair that with her usual tongue poking out, and its just too adorable.

| Gracie is a head tilter. I notice that when I ask her something she is more inclined to tilt her head. Like, "What are you saying?" It seems as though she knows I am asking her something but isn't sure of what the heck I am saying! It is so adorable. I can hardly stand it. |

| Cute article, the picture of the pugs head tilting made me LOL. Billi's head tilt cracks me up cuz she only does it when I'm being weird- making funny sounds, talking in strange voices, singing, dancing for her... It's like she's saying "Whaaat? MOOOM, why are you so weird!??!". She looks at me like she disapproves of my shenanigans and wants me to return to normal. As soon as I do, she does too. Not surprisingly, it can entertain me for hours!

| Another thing Joel does when he tilts his head is he holds one paw up when he's really confused/curious when I say something. It's like he's saying "OMG, wait what did you say!" It's so cute, i'm wondering if any others do that. |

| Dallas does it every time we say "Are you hungry?" I read the article but I'm still not sure if he's doing it because he's really interested in what we're saying or we've trained him to do it because yes, we do think it's adorable! lol (Maybe it's both!) Rory isn't a head tilter yet, though. |

| Not just dogs...cats tilt their heads, too. Head tilting is very cute, so I'd never complain!

YT 1000 Club Member | All my guys do it, but it's only when I say something they don't usually hear me say. Like, good boy/girl is ok, but, if I ask one what He/She has stuck in their Beards/Tails (like a twig) or something like that, they really get twisty headed. So I think it's like they're trying to absorb/learn the sound that's unfamiliar.

| My boys fall mostly into #2 Communicating. They tilt their heads to let me know they are interested in what I am saying, especially when I say "Do you want." I still want to make a video like Rachael and Joel's great "Do you want" video. Max and Teddy are so funny when they sit side by side, tilting their heads left, then right, then left.
