Why do dogs tilt their head

Yogi does this too-I feel like hes also thinking "what are you saying" certain things he will react to like"do you wanna go for a ride?" then he jumps up and gets so excited-I think the tilting is absolutley adorable!

LOL...this is how Piper is. When I ask her if she want's some dinner, she tilts her head one way then when I ask her if she's hungry it goes the other way and so on. OMG, it is so stinkin' adorable that I just want to kiss her!!! One of my favorite looks.

I sit there & will start w/ 'do you want'...& say hard words or gibberish just to watch Momo tilt his head loll! I'll trick Turbo when trying to attempt taking pics of him bc he doesn't look @ the camera. So I'll say something like 'do you want a cookie?' & he'll look @ me like, 'cookie?'

I test my boys too by saying things like, "Do you want . . . to go to Disneyland or the moon?" They know when I am teasing them.

Neither of my boys like the camera, and treats don't really help. I have to say things like "harness" or "car", but then they turn with a stunned look on their faces.

Huey is not much of a head tilter (disappointing because it is so cute!) but he does the paw thing. It's like he stops mid thought and waits for the finish. That is really cute, too.
