| My yorkie's weight I have a teacup yorkie (Lincoln) who is right about 8 months old and weighs 2.5 pounds. I know he's not suppose to weigh much more than that but it just appears that he's too skinny. He has a very tiny little waist that curves inward. Is that normal? He has an appetite and eats what I would think as normal. He appears happy and normal so I wouldn't think anything was wrong but I fear I could be wrong. Are they usually this tiny? I need input please! |

| You have a tiny Yorkie, not a tea cup, no such thing, just a name used to jack up the price. I had a girl that weighed in at 3.4lbs, she was the same as you explained yours to be. What does you vet say about your little man, you do need to take extra care with the tiny Yorkies, as they are prone to health problems. We love pics here, and could give you some better advice, if we could see him. No matter what, they are all love bugs, and be happy with him, and enjoy every minuet with him. Welcome to YT. Cheers Quad & Gina

| Well I've been paranoid about everything since I got him. I bought him from what ended up being a horrible breeder. He was malnourished and underweight and full of worms. I got him back to perfect health but I'm just worried about him all of the time. The vet said he was fine at his last visit I just hope I'm being paranoid. |

| If your really worried your vet should be able to tell you if he is underweight.
