Default My yorkie's weight

I have a teacup yorkie (Lincoln) who is right about 8 months old and weighs 2.5 pounds. I know he's not suppose to weigh much more than that but it just appears that he's too skinny. He has a very tiny little waist that curves inward. Is that normal? He has an appetite and eats what I would think as normal. He appears happy and normal so I wouldn't think anything was wrong but I fear I could be wrong. Are they usually this tiny? I need input please!
