| Could the vet explain why she has blood in her poo? Did he think it might be the vaccinations or the dewormer? I would certainly watch for diarrhea or signs of parvo if the blood gets worse. Do you know if the rest of the litter is healthy? I agree with you that at only 1 kg, she won't have a lot of reserves. If she worsens at all, I would get her rechecked sooner rather than later. Good luck and keep us posted!

YT 1000 Club Member | I'm very surprised that your Vet didn't do a X-Ray ! Our guys large and small, are quite prone to swallow anything they can get into their mouths. Could be from resource guarding to just did it because they wanted to. I'd definitely want to know that there wasn't anything sharp that was abrading their stomach or intestinal track.

| Did your vet take and test a stool sample? Gina had soft stool with a little blood and mucus in it when we got her, I took her last stool, time and dated it, then had my vet check it out, Gina has coccodia, and is on an antibiotic, she is responding great to it, and running around like she was never sick. Hope your baby gets better very soon. Cheers Quad

| Blood in the poo is not normal and means something so if your vet is unwilling to tell you what the problem is I would go else where.
