| Lana has arrived I picked Lana up this morning. She rode the entire 1.5 hour trip wonderfully laying in the passenger seat and sleeping for the most part. Except when I made the huge mistake of going through McD's drive through to grab a quick lunch. I thought she was going to have a throw down for the bag of food. I put it in the back seat. She jumped right back there to get it. I moved it to the front and some how that short legged baby found a way to get at it there. So, I put it between me and the door and she bared her teeth to let me know in no uncertain terms that she was going to have the food. I floored it home. I have to admit I was a little scared of her for a few minutes. We got home and I brought my other two dogs outside to meet her. Max, being his crabby old self, sniffed her and went to the door. He's nearly 15 and wants to lay on the couch and be left alone. Barney, on the other hand, was jumping and running, appearing to be very happy. We came inside and Lana has followed me everywhere. If I sit, she barks to be in my lap. I was happy about this because Barney has never been Mr. Cuddly. Until......today. Now, he has a fit if she is in my lap. We finally are having a few minutes of peace, but I look like a crazy dog lady. Max is sleeping on one side of loveseat, Lana is next to him leaning on my leg, and Barney is in my lap. Fortunately, they are all sound asleep. It is the first few minutes of peace we've had today. What have I done! |

| I will get some good pics tonight. She has a terrible haircut. Her foster mom said that they had to cut a lot of hair because it was matted. However, she is a little over weight and her cut makes it look worse. Her foster had never had a yorkie before and she didn't know that you are supposed to be able to feel her ribs. So, she went from a little under 4 pounds to nearly 6 pounds while there. I am going to see what the vet wants to do. She's a little porker. She makes Barney look even skinnier than he did before. |

| Congratulations on your new addition! Your story of your McDonald's made me laugh. Lana sounds like a pistol. Looking forward to pictures.

| Congrats on your new baby. Please make sure in the future to use a tether, car seat or travel crate when traveling with your babies because if you have an accident or slam on the brakes they will go flying and could hurt themselves, you, or end up dead.

| She is 6 years old. Yes, I think she is going to be a pistol. I called my son while she was having her McD's throw down and let him listen. He was cracking up. I don't think she's going to be the delicate flower we were expecting. She is nearly ten inches long and a 7 inches tall. She looks so funny next to Barney. He is a tall, skinny yorkie. We just had dinner and she is pacing everywhere trying to get at people food. The hair around her eyes is gone because her original owner had let them completely mat up with tears. They had to be shaved. Her ears are shaved too. I am not sure why. The hair she does have is very soft. I am wondering if she is part silky terrier. So far she is cuddly but not too playful. |

| She is resting comfortably in my lap now. Barney is having his evening terrors so he doesn't care. Here is a picture. She wants to be on my lap so it's hard to get a good one. I am thinking about having her hair cut to a puppy cut and just starting from scratch. It's hard to tell in the pics, but she has a really choppy cut. |
