Default Lana has arrived

I picked Lana up this morning. She rode the entire 1.5 hour trip wonderfully laying in the passenger seat and sleeping for the most part. Except when I made the huge mistake of going through McD's drive through to grab a quick lunch. I thought she was going to have a throw down for the bag of food. I put it in the back seat. She jumped right back there to get it. I moved it to the front and some how that short legged baby found a way to get at it there. So, I put it between me and the door and she bared her teeth to let me know in no uncertain terms that she was going to have the food. I floored it home. I have to admit I was a little scared of her for a few minutes. We got home and I brought my other two dogs outside to meet her. Max, being his crabby old self, sniffed her and went to the door. He's nearly 15 and wants to lay on the couch and be left alone. Barney, on the other hand, was jumping and running, appearing to be very happy. We came inside and Lana has followed me everywhere. If I sit, she barks to be in my lap. I was happy about this because Barney has never been Mr. Cuddly. Until......today. Now, he has a fit if she is in my lap. We finally are having a few minutes of peace, but I look like a crazy dog lady. Max is sleeping on one side of loveseat, Lana is next to him leaning on my leg, and Barney is in my lap. Fortunately, they are all sound asleep. It is the first few minutes of peace we've had today. What have I done!
