![]() Congratulations on your new girl. Sounds like you will have to start behavior training from the beginning. Don't let her on your lap everytime she asks or she will think she is in charge. Make her wait until you ask her and you might have to ignore her lap wanting some times. Also teach her basic obedience sit, down, and stay.

![]() First of all, welcome to YT. You are so sweet to have the patience for three! Also, what a luxury. It's all I can do to handle my one & only, Milo. Lana sounds like a real "keeper". I hope you have many more happy days with her & the other two.

![]() What a difference a few days makes. She is settling right in and quickly becoming our little sweet heart. Barney is very jealous right now, but they have played together a few times. So I am hoping that with time they will become friends. She and Max cuddled together for a nap yesterday. He can't hear or see very well. He may have thought she was a pillow. 3 dogs are a lot more work than 2. However, Max is really like 1/2 a dog. He just needs to eat, drink and lay on the couch. Our biggest issue is house training. Fortunately, the living area is tile and hard wood. But I feel like I am the pee detective. I have been keeping a daily log of everything they do. Lana only poo's once a day and the two days we've had her it has been right after her second meal. She pee's 3 times a day. Barney pees about every hour. I have been putting them in their crates for about 3-4 hours during the day so that they will be used to it when we go to the beach this summer. Thanks for all of the support. The first day I was questioning what in the world I had done. But she is stealing my heart.
