Yorkie Yakker | Shaking up THE PEN I return back to work tomorrow and Chewie will be left alone for the first time. He's been doing great - hardly any crying at all - NONE at night - it's awesome. He seems pretty content in his pen. I'm just wondering about different things I can do when I leave for work to "shake things up a bit" - I guess so it's not so boring. Right now he's pretty content to sleep. But I know that will change soon. I bought him a kong and the stuffing for it... I also bought some different dog bones and chews so I could switch them up. I was going to turn some music on for him when I left. Open the curtains, etc. I'm just worried about him. He's so sweet. I hate to leave him.

I have thought of setting up a camera just to see what Buster does when he is home alone.

| Just make sure all the toys are pet safe. Don't leave anything small enough to fit in the mouth or anything he might spend a lot of time trying to take apart. I had one puppy that would go right for the squeaker every time. He would chew until he got that squeaker and of course that is the most dangerous part of the toy! I hope all goes well for both of you. |

| I leave a radio on for my little guy so that he doesn't feel alone until my parents arrive and spend the day with him. I'm lucky that my parents are retired and live a few blocks away, so they are happy to come and spend the day with their grand baby! Good luck!
