Paris: Always in my ♥ Donating YT Member | I don't know. All I know is that she is way bigger than Paris, but at a year is probably full grown. I also have never had a female dog before. Then again, when I look at Paris' picture staring at me as I think about getting a new dog, I feel like I'm betraying his memory or something. Does anyone know if this is a normal way to feel? Maybe it's still to soon? |

Hugs to you.... I missed mine for almost 2 years, was sad everyday and cried alot. Hardly ever smiled or laughed. Your next pup will not replace Paris, ever. It'll be more like adding a brother or sister for him. And it will be a place for you to put all that 'Mommie Love' your heart is still making... that's what hurts, you still have all this love and nowhere to put it. A new pup won't be another Paris, but will endear itself to you in it's own way. You just have to let them in. Me too!

| Cute dog, no clue on what type of mix, though. I think the way you're feeling is perfectly normal. If this shelter doggy is tugging at your heartstrings, that might be trying to tell you that it's time to love again It's okay to love another dog, Paris wouldn't want you to miss out on that Let your heart tell you what to do. My husband insisted on another Yorkie the day after my Starr passed away. I didn't ever want another dog or so I thought. Little Luna (and then Izzy) helped me to heal SO much. I tell them stories about their big sister Starr all the time, and how much they all would have loved each other. Crazy dog lady? Maybe, but I can think of my baby Starr now without getting sad, just grateful that as my first Yorkie, she gave me a lifelong love of this breed

Paris: Always in my ♥ Donating YT Member | You both made me cry again. I am so glad I have you all to comfort this crazy dog lady. This dog is new to the shelter and has to have her vet visit, temperment evaluation and spay before she can go anywhere. So I have a few days to think about it. I'll knowby then I'm sure. Sorry some can't see her picture, any ideas how to fix that? |
