| Oh hun, I can feel your pain from here. Whether you decide to get this girl or not, just know that its ok to love another pup. It wont take anything away from Paris. And only you will know when you're ready to take that step again. When my close friend lost her yorkie of only 6 months to LS, she was so devastated we couldnt see each other for 2 months, she couldnt bare to see my Ziggy. Then things got better. Its now been a year, and she is ready to start looking for a new baby. We are thinking of getting our new babies at the same time again, but this time she's not getting a yorkie

| I know how you feel. My friend and I were looking at rescues (we both have lost our dogs too) and then I feel guilty like I'm betraying Sammy. I don't think I'm ready yet. I still have days of crying too. Sending you a great big hug!!! |

| Paris: Always in my ♥ Donating YT Member | Thanks MommaZiggy and Sammy Mommy! I am just a mess even thinking about this. I have put two other dogs on hold at the shelter and backed out on them. They must think I'm nuts. |

| I wasn't able to see the photo either, but this little girl sounds so perfect for you. It was almost two years between the time we lost Ashley until we brought Katie home on Mother's Day, and I understand how great your loss is. Ashley was almost seventeen, and she had dementia the last year of her life. She was very responsive with us, but she was extremely needy and needed 24 hour care each day. Losing her was a great loss for us, but I knew from losing her sisters before her, that each baby is totally irreplaceable. We love each one of our babies differently, but it is easy for our hearts to love another baby again. After I lost our first Yorkie, Jolie, and got Ashley, I didn't think it would be possible for me to love another little one like I loved Jolie. Yet Ashley completely stole my heart, then so did Kiwi and Gracie. Now I have Katie, and I can't believe how much I love this little girl and how happy she has made me. It doesn't change how I feel about Ashley or her sisters, and I love and miss them just as much as ever. Yet I was so unhappy without a little one to love, and now with Katie, she reinforces the beautiful and happy memories that I have of Ashley, Kiwi, Gracie and Jolie even more. It is because you love your little boy so much that you want to share your heart with another little one. If you think you can handle it, I think your heart will heal much faster if you have another baby to love. I can't wait for the day until you bring another little one into your heart and home. |

| Paris: Always in my ♥ Donating YT Member | Thank you all for your support. This had been an emotional day. Thank you for all the kind words. I keep looking at the little video I made of her. I hope she does good at the vet appointment. |

| She is very cute and they say Schnauzer's are highly intelligent. You know that you did your best by Paris and I'm sure he would want you to be happy with another dog. Most of us have lost much loved pets at one time or another. It is so painful. Just like loosing a best friend. Our lives go on though and there are so many out there that need someone to love them. You certainly have much to give to a new furry friend. |

| All of your links work for me..not sure why they aren't working for everyone though... but again, she is a cutie!!! I do agree with everyone else that a new one really might help your heart to heal. For me, everyone kept telling me it would get better with time after I lost Riley last year, but it just seemingly got worse. But, after adding Bentley, he definitely helped my heart to heal... At the same time, I am not in any way saying he replaced my Riley bc he didn't... He just helped me realize I could love another dog just as much while still keeping a special place ..always.. for the love and life I shared with my precious Riley. I'm glad you have a few days to think about it!! |
