| What is your dog's personality? I thought it would be fun to start a thread where everyone can discuss their pups personalities! If you had to describe your pups personality in a few short sentences, how would you describe him/her? Also, if you have more than one are their personalities different? I'll start! Ever since I got Piper, I have noticed that her and Teddy are somewhat alike but for the most part very different. Teddy is very loving an affectionate! I actually think he has become more affectionate towards us since we got Piper. He is a total protector! Teddy likes to play with other dogs, but is very very timid around people he doesn't know. I refer to him as my homebody because he is the most content when he is in our apartment. He really does not like to walk around the city, but LOVES to play in grass in the sub-burbs. He is a total cuddlebug and definitely knows how to get his way! He is a total daddy's boy! Piper is sassy! She is a total ball of energy. She is also very affectionate. She loves to play with other dogs and people. She is fearless! and a total explorer. She loves going on walks but she more so pounces like a bunny everywhere she goes. She is not much of a cuddlebug, but loves to give kisses and will give you one anytime you ask. She is a total momma's girl! Now tell me about yours!

| Jewely is very sweet and cuddly. She is a little bit nervous dog though and doesnt like change or anything out of the ordinary. Chachi is sweet very smart and adaptable to change or things out of the ordinary. He was a breeze to potty and obedience train They both are good at behaving and they are good that we can take them off leash and they wont run off but will stay with us

| Bailey is a very loyal pet. He can't wait to see you. If I'm gone 2 minutes he's jumping up and down as soon as I come back. He doesn't bark unless someone comes to the door. He likes people and other animals. When we walk the neighborhood he makes sure he knows what everybody is doing. We call him the neighborhood snoop. Just a great addition to the family. |

| How fun!! Mr Wonderful AKA Sir Peanut Rosenmayer the 3rd… Haha No J/k His name is just Pnut, He is a very sweet little boy, he loves his Momma more than anything in the world- Where ever I am in the house he is in my sight! He loves to cuddle on the couch, play with his toys, lay in the sun take walks... He is very outdoorsy and he is also couch potato! He feeds on our energy, whatever we are doing he is doing He is also very neurotic, doesn't like change, doesn't like a lot of loud noises, has some OCD issues He loves his space, would rather sleep in his crate than with Dh and I in the big BED, he is a little bed bug in the morning, I have to yank him out of his crate to go Pee in the morning He is a great little guard dog ( in his mind) He can scare just about anything away with one bark! He is my sweet little baby, he fits with DH and I perfect!

| Tibbe is a total toot and has the energy of a thousand toddlers and the "Me do it!" stubbornness to go with! His terrier determination is true and unparalleled and I am certain that if he were living on a farm somewhere in northern Yorkshire, there would not be a rat around for as far as his short little legs could carry him. But thank God, he lives here in Texas where all he has to do is have fun and "work" keeping squirrels and big birds and strange noises barked out - and to love me back. When he turns in his guard duty badge for a time, he can cuddle like an angel and has never left my side during my rehab from recent surgery. He's a wonderful mix of love, loyalty and lionheartedness. His favorite activity in the world is "training" - learning and doing his obedience tricks. And there is no greeting in the world like the one I get when coming home to Tibbe!

| Yoshi, my Peke is very sedate and can sleep anytime. He loves to cuddle and a Mommy's boy..Miss Prissy, my Yorkie is full of energy and gives kisses to let you know that she missed ya and love you. Also Miss Prissy got her name when I first got her and she went across the room wiggling that little tail and looking back to see if we were watching. LOL The furkids bring us so much joy and we love them with all of our heart.

| Couver is the most loyal dog I have ever met. He is my personal guard dog and will bark at any strange noise he hears. He is my cuddle monster and begs to be under the covers with me everynight by scratching until I lift the blanket so he can crawl under. He has several quirks: he doesn't like people running, bicycles, skateboards, little kids (especially when they move fast), and doesn't like it when men wear hats. He yelps with joy when I come home from work and will not go potty until I give him some love. He loves to travel and go places and he adjusts to pretty much anything. He is the boss and makes sure that the kitties and Khloe know it... all the time. Miss Khloe Mae is my aloof little alert dog. She will bark at anything (even when there is nothing...) and makes sure everyone knows where she's at. She loves to have her chin scratched and will often dramatically throw her head back to let you know she wants you to scratch her. She enjoys stealing toys from her brother, but won't bother with toys unless he has one. She is my bouncy girl and is full of spunk. She wants to play with other dogs, but does not want them to chase her. She is easily intimidated by others, but doesn't let her brother boss her around. When he tries to show that he is 'alpha' by growling at her, she will bop him on the head multiple times with her paw as if to say "You aren't my boss!" She is my kissing machine. She kisses everyone... She loves to give kisses to the cats, even after they pin her down, she will get back up and attack them with more kisses. They both have their quirky personalities, but I could not imagine my life without them

| Lola is sweet and sassy. she is def a girly girl., she is loyal and smart. Since the first day i got her she has been my shadow ( except when her daddy is home ) . She likes to cuddle BUT only when SHE wants. She also LOVES to chase squirrels and pigeons. Whenever we go to NH and let her off her leash she runs non stop in the park trying to catch squirrels. She could run for 1 hr straight. She is a teaser, she would go say hi to every dog on the street no matter how big or small they are and once the other dog gives her attention she walks away!!!!!!! but she gets shy in places where there is more than 2 dogs p.s: she is a daddy's girl! |

| My Maxie is a 6#, blue collar, mill ratter with a fancy pedigree. He backs down from nothing and no one. He loves FOOD! Especially people food. Goes crazy for mashed potatoes and buttered toast, although he gets very little of it. He goes nuts with any swiping motion -- a dust wand; a floor dust mop; washing a mirror or window... He's made inside-out. All his emotions and reactions are on the outside. What you see is what you get. Marley is Mr. Mellow... a go-along-to-get-along kind of guy. Occasionally gets enough of Mr. Big Stuff and has to lay him down... is devasted by a harsh word, wants everyone to be happy...can't stand tense voices or discord... will lick your face off if he thinks you're sad about anything...an absolute joy to be around. |

| When Gracie was a puppy she was very bossy and liked to fight with toys and with me sometimes! She would growl and show her teeth and want me to play fight with her. I learned quickly that this was not a good idea. I had to try to discourage her growly play fight times and try to keep her calm. She had to be taught not to chase the cats or to bounce on people who came in the door. Had to give her lots of exercise and teach her some obedience and how to fetch. I think she would have loved to be a little ratter. Now she is a little cuddle bug. Every time I sit down she is in my lap. She is always good for a Sunday afternoon nap and likes to sleep under the blanket with me at night. She still loves to play but knows she can only play nice. She is a sweet little doll to me but can be pushy with other members of the household who have not taught her the boundaries and rules. She is a smarty for sure. I keep telling people that they need to be smarter than she is. |
