great thread, Lola is my first mix, she is mixed with pom but looks more like a yorkie with a pom tail. She is a happy go lucky girl, not much phases or scares her and she does not have a mean bone in her body. She LOVES LOVES to play fetch and will bring the toy everywhere in hopes someone will throw it, she will even plop in a running vacuum cleaner. After you pick it up, she backs up and does a quick twirl before chasing after it like her life depended on it. She loves my big exercise ball and pushes it all over trying to get it to bounce, it's about the only time she barks. She loves other dogs to the point it worries me because she is ready to run up and greet any we come across no matter what the size.(she is always on a leash) She is a spinner I heard this might be pom trait, but she is constantly twirling around on all fours, before a treat, before a walk, or whatever she just spins, it's quite funny. She is a wiggler and does not like to be cuddled much until she sleepy, but every morning rolls over so she can get her belly rub. As she is getting a little older she is more willing to be held and kissed, which of course I love doing. She can have the run of the house when I go out for about 6 hours with no problem . She housebroke easily and seems to have no desire to mark. She loves the snow and goes out of her way to get to it when she goes out to potty. She likes to go out so often she rings the bell just to get my attention. My last dog had so many personality quirks it drove me crazy, so I am so pleased that I really can't find one thing that I would change in Lola. LOL she really needs to be cloned because I could make a mint selling her to my friends

Wylie is our oldest, and he likes to feel in charge. He thinks the world rests on his little shoulders, but is also VERY sensitive and gentle. He could fetch 24 hrs a day. He is kinda OCD...he has all these very specific routines. His favorite room is our library, he feels he can really keep an eye on the whole house there. He likes to spoon/cuddle - but only when he feels like it. He wants to meet every creature in the world. He loves going for walks and marking his territory; on walks, he is ALL business.

Marcel is our middle guy. He is UBER loving -- just LOVES being held and cuddled and massaged and scratched and worshiped. He adores kissing. He loves giving love. A total Mama's boy. His favorite spot is our bed - and he rules it w/ an iron paw...it's the only spot where he likes to take charge. We baby him more than our other two, bc somehow he still seems like a little puppy/baby. He loves being acknowledged and ooh-ed and ahh-ed over when he's carrying a toy or a bone/chew.

Pfeiffer, our girl, is our youngest. She is full of joy, lightheartedness, innocence, gentleness, willingness...and just wants everyone to "stay PAWSitive". She is silly and easy-breezy and bops around. She has such a light spirit. She loves kisses and can be very cuddly. She is both a Daddy's girl and a Mama's girl...but maybe a smidge more of a Daddy's girl. She is always trying to get parties started with the boys...she loves being chased, playing tag w/ Wylie, wrestling, showing off her toys. She loves it when she has a toy or chew, and Wylie wants it from her - LOVES it.

I have been thinking about each of my babies, so will do them one at a time....Interesting thread!

Rusty- Rusty is now 7 years old, and getting grumpier every day! LOL
He was always very jealous of other doggies and well, high strung. I fell in love with Yorkies before I got him. I realize now his breeder sold him to me much too soon. I got him at 6 weeks old and I raised him. He is super smart, loves meeting other people, can be oh so sweet, but look out, he can be really mean! He was 4 years old when I got a 2nd Yorkie and he totally ignored her for 8 months! If she walked into the room, he would leave! If you wake him up now, he growls and shows you his teeth! He knows quite a few tricks I taught him when he was little. He loves Greenies, but guards other things that shouldn't be guarded. I have learned just to throw a heavy quilt over him and put him into a crate and lock the door until he calms down! He is the World Champion Fetcher and can play for hours, but will only allow Bubbles and Macayla to join in. If he wants to wake me, he jumps up in the bed and rolls over me until I wake up! He lays on his back like he is scratching his back and rolls all over me to make sure I am awake. If that doesn't work he will try to stick his tongue in my ears! He actually chose his Dad over me when I was in the hospital for a month. Hubby says Rusty thinks I abandoned him, so he had to pick a new human master. He absolutely LOVES his Daddy, while I am just the babysitter. He is housetrained to the outside. He started doing that at about a year old, because he was paper trained before that. He loves his walks and you would never think he was 7 years old because of the pep he has! All in all, he is my first little Yorkie and I do love him!

I got Cheyenne when Rusty was about 4 years old..I have never seen a puppy with more zip that Cheyenne. I used to love to sit and comb her hair, as it was beautiful to me! She is now silver and gold and has one lazy ear. She is the Princess of the house, and well, spoiled. Both her Dad & I, and my sons, adore her because she is Cheyenne! LOL
She is so calm, cool, collected most of the time but when it is time to go outside, she is ready to go! She is a Huntress, checking all the trees for those dreaded squirrels, birds, and the yard for rabbits. While in the house she has a bed under the sofa in the office and she likes to go under there where it is dark and catch up on her beauty sleep! She only comes out if you call her, she hears barking, she smells food, she's a beauty, LOL. She sleeps at the foot of our bed, and burrows under the cover to lick our toes. She refuses to use the ottoman to help she and Rusty onto the bed, she comes to my side and nudges the bed with one paw. I know what that means....It means wake up, sit up and extend both arms down to pick her up, as she refuses to be picked up with one arm. If you do not pick her up, she will murmur softly and then BARK if you do not pick her up fast enough to suit her.
She snores. Only one of my Yorkies that does.
Always flops over on her back so you can give her a belly rub. Loves to have belly rub and a good back massage every moring before leaving bed. Loves Q-tips. Loves food, especially human food, carrots, sweet potatoes, bacon. She loves wearing dresses and posing for pictures. Loves going camping because she loves the great outdoors! She hardly ever plays like she did as a puppy. She is my Baby Girl, and according to her AKC pedigree, one of her great-great grandfathers was Pastoral Johnny Handsome, and I've only seen one picture of him (B&W) and I think she looked just like him (in the face and hair color) when she was younger. Oh well, could be my adoring eyes anyway...

my Millies is 11 weeks, she is actually pretty mellow for a puppy, although she has her moments through out the day super hyper and wants everyone to play with her!!!

Chewie is EXTREMELY social. His favorite thing is meeting new people or dog friends! He's a man's man (figuratively speaking...) He's totally fearless and very active. He loves to do his own thing--he's smart, but not overly submissive. He loves to kill his toys (and any small varmints he manages to catch, including mice and a small garter snake ). He's very attentive and nothing gets by him--he lets me know whenever anyone visits us...or the neighbors! And he can be a total cuddlebug. He usually spends most of the evening sleeping in the chair beside me.

I think Debit and Chewie could be twins...... The only exception is that living in Manhattan Debit doesn't really have an opportunitty to catch any small live little creatures...... Unless chasing the pigeons counts lol.

Chewie is now almost 3 yrs old. Chewie is the most friendliest Yorkie I have ever seen! He loves other animals. When out for a walk, he must go right up to other animals, dogs and cats, and give them a kiss! He was the runt of his litter and was tiny and still is tiny to me about 5 lbs. He is not much for playing with toys, but he is a foodie and loves food. He loves to be held and cuddled and he loves being carried around like a human baby! I vacumned many floors with Chewie in one arm. It is automatic for me to pick him up now. When he wants you to pick him up, he stands up and whines and begs to be picked up. As a little puppy, he started doing the cutest thing and that was climbing up the sides of a overstuffed sitting chair just like a monkey or spider! It is hilarious! He has cottony coat and I keep it cut short and he always wears a shirt because he shivers, even in the summer. He has floppy ears and I am letting his hair grow out into a new style like a Shih-Tzu. When I sit and watch TV, he likes to crawl in my lap, curl into a ball and sleep. His little bark still sounds like a puppy bark and is so cute to hear! He is my little Chewie Bear and the cutest thing he does is when anyone is carrying him, he holds his body up absolutely straight! No slumping for Chewie! He thinks he is human and I don't tell him any different.

Rubin is my sweet kissy boy. He was my baby for 5 years, he can be demanding about treats and toys but most of the time, he lets Gracie be the boss.
Gracie was a rescue. She is my sweet diva now. She is so very spoiled. My lap princess. It scares me how much I love her.
Abba is my happy boy. He is tiny, adorable and always tail wagging joyful. He has an independent nature and doesn't demand lap time. Abba is content to snuggle on his pillow in his crate or chewing on his Kong.
Ginny Joy is the outcast and my big girl. She is the smartest and most trainable of all our dogs. She can figure out lots of things. Like how to open her crate, climb a gate, dig under the fence, get in the trash etc. The other dogs don't like to play with her, she jumps on them kissing and doing belly rolls. She is the youngest and biggest Yorkie in our home.She has a sad little face you want to kiss.
Lily is our Lab and I call her Banger because her tail is always banging into things.

Cozy is my incredibly sweet and loving mama dog but is she does not know you beware. She is like a mama bear with cubs.

Roxy is her name. Rough and tough. Ready for anything. She is go, go, go. She walks like a little band leader.

Zoey is my little cuddle bug. Her perfect say would be in bed. She does have short bursts of spunky, stubbornness. If she does not want to go inside or outside she will run away like the gingerbread man and will look back at you. I swear she is singing "Run, run, run as fast as you can you can't catch me. I'm the gingerbread girl!"

Lucy forever has explaining to do it seems whether she did it or not.

The above yorkies are all related but totally different in looks and personality.

Buddy- "Gorkie"- 1/2 golden 1/2 yorkie. Really is 100% Golden but loves the play on the ground with his girls. He wants every person and animal he meets to love him and be his friend.
