| Sick to my stomach The neighbors next door got their 2 kids a puppy about a week ago. We noticed that they let them take it out in the front yard and just run loose. My husband said they were chasing it across the street. I said, you watch that puppy will get hit by a car and my husband said yes or one of the kids. So, sure enough when he was leaving for work this morning the little puppy was laying in the street and had been run over. What is the matter with people? That has literally made me sick. THere was no reason that should have happened. |

| I saw the little thing running and playing with them the other day and it was soooo cute. I just feel like bawling. It has caused me to be real depressed and I hope and pray they don't go get another one. |

| That is terrible. People seem to have no brain when it comes to animals.

| I am so sorry that happened . I am sorry it broke your heart. Hugs for you my friend. We can only do so much to protect animals that are not our own. I know people get sick of hearing me preach, but I don't care, I educate every kid, I can. And sometimes adults too. Dogs are not disposable commodities,or toys. People should not adopt them with out a serious commitment to protect and love them. Oppps there I go again .....

| My husband works nights so they had to have left him outside. So, it was like the middle of the night he got hit. I am so glad I didn't see it. I had never seen one hit until a few years ago I was coming from the drugstore and a man hit alittle toy poodle in the lane next to me. It didn't kill it right away and I went home crying and shaking until I didn't know what was happening to me. I had just lost my mother and I guess my nerves were just gone. I think this has brought back when I seen that baby hit and the man went on just like it was nothing. Its horrible to see when they have been hit but to see one actually hit was about more than I could take. Oh, God don't let them get another one. That is what I'm afraid of. The same thing happening all over again. |

| Just heartbreaking. I wonder what people think when they get a pet. Don't they realize it's a 24 hour committment? This is not a toy that you can turn off and put on a shelf. I feel so sad for the puppy and now the children who have to learn a very hard lesson about "life and death". Really saddens me.

| It bothers me too to see people let their pets run loose. But unfortunately some people leave their human children outside unattended too. We had to contact animal control because in my neighborhood so many dogs were running loose and coming in our yard. I hate to hear when people are so careless. Sorry to hear about the poor innocent pup. |
