| Clothing Storage? So I have accumulated tons of t-shirts, sweaters and jackets for my 4 babies and I am wondering what everyone uses to store/hang them? I currently use one of my dresser drawers. Anyone know where I could buy hangers for them? a storage system designed for dog clothing? Any creative self-made ideas? Thanks in advance |

| I have a baby armoire and when you open the doors it has a shelf on the very top that I have two plastic small draw things for accessories, her little tote like thing with bath stuff in it, and a basket with odds n ends, then under that I put a bar in that holds all her nice clothing anything over 5 dollars lol, then under that folded if its winter I do sweaters if summer I do cheaper tshirts and tank tops, then at the bottom there are two drawers top one is nighties, and big comfy shirts, then the bottom drawer is off season clothing and some blankies, life vest, and coats. For a smaller dog with smaller clothes you could hang two rods in there. I got my hangers off of ebay they are pink.

| I bought a fabric rolling cart at Costco with six area that open in the front and have flaps and velcro. I think it was meant for craft storage but Sophie Kates clothing fits in great. The fabric is really pretty, it is black and white toile.

| post from a year ago found this "baby armoire" on Craigslist. The ad was for a garage sale and had a pic of the closet. I saw the potential immediately. I went to the garage sale early and pretended I wasn't interested in it, even though I went there knowing I was going to buy it . I asked how much they wanted for it and they said $60. I walked away and kept browsing, acting uninterested. I came back to it and offered them $20, saying that it was really scratched up and needed a lot of work (it was actually not that bad and the entire thing is SOLID wood- absolutely no particle board). And they took $20! I was overjoyed! It definitely had lots of potential. So I went to Home Depot and picked up some sandpaper for my hubby's power sander, a beautiful black ebony stain, and all new brushed stainless steel hardware for around $40. Later I added another closet rod for $7. I got the wicker baskets at Ross for $10. I am still searching for some little hooks to put on the insides of the doors to hang leashes, harnesses, and collars. I am so glad I stained it instead of painting it because it has such a beautiful dark color with wood grain showing through. I LOVE this closet! I searched for months for something to put Zoe's clothes in , but everything I found was either too small or too expensive. I am really happy with how it turned out and it really wasn't that much work. I had a lot of fun customizing it and learning how to refinish. So here are the before and after pics: Attached Thumbnails http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...ed-photo-2.jpg http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...ed-photo-3.jpg http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...shed-photo.jpg http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...ed-photo-1.jpg

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | What wonderful ideas! I was planning on buying a cabinet with doors too and adding a bar for hanging things. I need to look on Craigslist too! Great idea!

| I'm in the process of constructing one using one of kitchen cabinets I removed when I opened up my kitchen to the dining room. I'm putting queen anne legs under it that I had left over from a vanity that my daughter used when she was young (she destroyed the vanity top with nail polish remover, but the legs are in great shape). I've got a dowel rod to put in for the doll hangers I purchased. I'll take some photos as I complete it to show you all.

| Levi has his own full-sized dresser. Perfect for clothes, harnesses, leashes, medications, and all of his odds and ends.

| I had this old sock drawer with about 8 drawers. All of them are almost full... but I could stuff more stuff in it. The bottom one is for her bows in little plastic containers. 4 small ones 2 stacked up. FITS PERFECT. I didn't need it, so Bailey did! Good luck. |

| I cleaned out a bottom drawer in my dresser, but it's almost full already. My mom and me own a little store and we have some people that build furniture that we sell in the store. So I've decided to have a wardrobe built for the dog's things. I do have a few sweaters and coats for My Dachshund and my daughter's Chihuhua, but Paisley's stuff is what is taking up all the drawer space! I was thinking of having both shelves and a clothes rod built in it. I figured I may want to hang some clothes up. |

You did a great job on this little closet. What a wonderful way to recycle furniture, such a smart idea! I see old tv/entertainment centers listed on Craigslist here all the time, for very reasonable prices. I think because with so many people getting wall mounted flat screens, no one needs the huge entertainment cabinets anymore. My kids have a bedroom closet with double rods, shelving at one end, and harness/leash hangers on the back of the closet door. Also, I have an armoire with two drawers at the bottom for sweaters and t-shirts, I store all the bows, collars, jewelry, etc. in top portion.

| I used bookshelves and hung rods at the top, and used the collapsible drawers for the bottom shelves. http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/...n/966ccf6f.jpg The baskets have snacks, grooming, and foldable clothes.

| I have a dresser that has been in the family for over 20 years now, my first nephew had it (a preemie at 1 lb. 10 oz.) then my niece used it and her brother after her, it was in storage until I decided to fix it for the furkids. I painted it pink with brown knobs and put their names on the door, it has three drawers and a door on one side so I can hang some clothes in it.
