| Men and their Yorkies... & the silly things they say or do! Ok so I made him a promise... that if he did something one more time (which was driving me nutts) I'd be forced to tell YT all about his soft side with Harley. Sooooo... What is the silliest thing your man has said or done with their Yorkie? The bf calls Harley "Beansie" because he is a "silly beans" well he doesn't even realize he does it... but about 4 times a day, I catch him playing with Harley singing to the tune of the "Iron man song" ... "I am beansie face... beansie, beansie, beansie, beansie, beansie face..." LMAO.... BTW I can no longer get that song out of my HEAD! I am amazed how these little furkids can turn our men into complete mush.

| LOL, that is so true! When I hear my DH come in the house from the garage, immediately he drops to his knees making kissie sounds saying, "there's daddy's girl...give me kissies", then the lips are making smackie sounds.

| My DH call Beau "Beaubolicious"......and sings this crazy little song to him......and he lets him lay on the desk while he's working......AND he rolls him over every morning and scratches his back on the carpet (rubbing him back and forth). Now Beau just walks over to him and rolls over on his back. It's too funny!! This is the man that said ABSOLUTELY NO DOGS!!! I can't even imagine how he'd behave if he's "wanted" a dog. :-) |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Hilarious. George was adamant about no dogs after Bungee died -- even though I heard him tell a friend that I would have a dog by Christmas. He talks a tough story but I've seen him down on the floor playing with his daughter's pomeranian. I give him about 20 minutes with Tallulah before he's complete mush. |

| My husband is the same way... He is a big, tough guy, but he calls our two his babies and always gets excited when we come home to them. He also baby talks when he doesn't think I'm listening

| Too funny We all think our husbands are the only ones with funny quirks with our furbabies. Mine snuggles with Shelby, he then calls her bubala (his sweetie name for her) and she goes wild! go figure, she proceeds to clean every inch of his face, loves his beard and when she's done he craddles her in his arms and she sleeps. Just too sweet to watch without crying. She's been through a lot and deserves the spoiling. |

| When I'm out and about and I call home, Gracie 'knows' it's me on the phone (don't know how) and comes running to him and he makes me talk to her on the phone (which she loves) and then before I can get off he makes me talk to Carly (so "Carly won't feel left out and get her feelings hurt" ) Yeah, tough guys are really the mushiest! Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | My husband loves all of our 3, but he has bonded with Darcy the most,,,he has a ton of nicknames for her "Little Lady", "baby girl" and "Boobie", I have no idea why. When I asked, he said its because her name is Boobie He was the same way, he said I could have one dog, and he would have nothing to do with it! LOL LOL. When he comes home he makes the boys sit, and he shakes hands with them, then he picks Darcy up and loves all over her. He was smart to never give them treats, they do not harrass him for food like they do me, but he knows their treat times, and will remind me sometimes before they do! |

| My hubby who I have mentioned before is a big man (over 300 lbs) and always says he wants to out live me so he can get rid of the dogs inside. He loves on our yorkie but his little long hair chihuahua is "his" dog. They have a ritual each night. He romps with our pom, snuggles with our yorkie then it is Puff's (he named her) time. They cuddle and "talk"to each other in little growls. It is so cute and funny at the same time. He has now started calling the pom: Daddy's boy.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I drive my wife nuts. I come home from work after not seeing her all day, and the first ones I greet are the dogs. We go through a big ritual of me apologizing for not being with them all day, and they all get hugs and kisses. Then my wife gets a peck on the cheek. I know, I'm bad. I think the strangest thing I do, though, is when we leave the house. I assign all the dogs duties: "Eddie, you're in charge. Rusty, you're the enforcer, but you can't do any enforcing until Eddie says it's OK. Jillie, you're Eddie's counselor. If he needs help making a decision, it's you're job to give him wise counsel." Meanwhile, Kelly's winking at our budgee and telling him he's in charge.

| OMG this is just hillarious. I love hearing these stories. I'm pretty sure the bf has agreed we eventually can have another. Right now we're both students and just don't have the finances to have two dogs. Especially since I think I want an adult next time, I'm pretty sure I want to rescue one, rather than deal with a puppy right away.... Some day... some day.
