and a moving target

Yesterday evening we brought home a beautiful Yorkie baby boy. He's 10 weeks old and weighs 3 pounds. He is a handful!

Cooper was a little aggressive last night and I think tried to bite him twice. I'm not sure if he was playing or attacking, but we have a close eye on them.

I think we are calling the puppy Max. He slept wonderfully in the crate next to the bed. He cried one time at 3am and I took him out and he peed and pooped in the kitchen and then went back to bed. He's eating well and drinking.

I'm not great with a camera, but here are some photos. His ears are taped, so he looks a bit silly.

Awww, congrats!! Max is sooooo cute....looks like he has a great big brother to play with and watch over him...too cute. Thanks for sharing and loved the pictures too....Congrats again

Thanks everyone. Sorry the pics are so bad - I can't really keep him still.

The house is now a moving train. Cooper won't stop following him everywhere! I just don't want him to eat Max.

Bandit was very disinterested in the puppy and a little nippy at times when she would puppy play but it stopped within a week I think and he warmed up to her and really started liking her within a month (it seems slow, but they have opposite personalities). Now they play together and they'll sleep together but at times Nala still has that puppy energy which will annoy Bandit so he'll just find a place to escape her craziness hehe. They're really cute when they cuddle and sleep together though

Ahhhhh! Congratulations! I'm so happy for you.

Max looks like he's gonna give Cooper a run for his money! I wouldn't worry about the biting

Cooper is just trying to teach Max the ropes. Adult dogs help teach pups. When my aunt on dads side got a little Yorkie pup, Jackson would nip at him if the pup did something rude, or whatever.

Please keep me updated on how they get along, and how he grows. He's so precious.

Thank you. I forgot to add that last night Max peed on the kitchen floor, which was the perfect place. I cleaned it and 2 minutes later Cooper peed in the exact same spot! Cooper never pees in the house, but I guess he was trying to tell me something.

Aw! Max is perfect! I knew you would find the perfect sibling for Cooper! What a great duo they are! Can't wait to watch Max grow up, it will be so much fun for Cooper having a play mate! All of mine are inseparable! I love it!
