| Medium Sized dog died accross the st :( My brother came over this afternoon and uses my phone right away . I hear him say to animal control that their is a dog who died that was right accross the st. from where I lived laying on his side , on the walkway . OMG, I have seen this dog many times before, looks like a male stray poddle type of mix. I look accross the st. on my balcony and sure enough he is not moving, laying there .... The animal control people tell us to take care of it because it is too muddy for them to bury him where they are. My brother was inside my home for a good 15min or so.. WEll , he goes outside to his car, and low behold the pooch lifts his head up and walks away, then stretches his legs out, I am sure he is /was wondering what all the fuss was all about ... I was already calling the apartment complex to report the dog had died , until I saw him .. he is just fine . But, sadly , whoever is taking care of this boy looks like he is an outside dog, very unkept and unclean, but hearty, and well fed . I am estatic that the dog was fine, but my gosh what a heartbreaking scene it was to see him laying on his side not moving . nOw , I am thinking he was enjoying the sun . It has been rainy today , so I bet he was trying to warm up . I wish that other people would take better care of their pets !!! my 2 girls are part of my family , loved and cared for every second of the day . It breaks my heart to know that people do not care for their animals as well as they ought to. If animal control came out, and the dog was alive he would have been destroyed. Too many stray dogs runing around here in our little town... I am so happy he was ok , and not hurt

| I would have to take him home with me....my two are a rowdy bunch at times, but would love another mate to play with I am sure. A good idea to maybe try to find the owners, and explain how that their little dog nearly gave you heart failure, even if he was only takin a nap on the side of the road...and you are worried he might be hurt for real one day.....that might make you feel better...should anything really bad happen..good luck |

| The manager is going to find out who the dog belongs to they have to be more careful and responsible. Poor baby did nearly give my brother and I heart attacks. I'd love to take him home with me, but my 2 are both girls , and not fixed . I love to find out who owns this poor sweet boy and help him. living in a small toen gives me very limited options though. Rescue shelters around here are few and far between. Most people speak spanish too where I live, which I do not, so the language barrier is anther concern.

| My old Ginger loved to lay outside and snooze in the grass, or in the driveway, even on hot days. She was laying on the apron from the drive to the street looking like a dead dog, when she suddenly got up and jumped about four feet sideways. In that instant there was a meathead kid with a car full of meatheads that drove up on my easement and right over the spot on the apron where she was laying. I almost had a real dead dog. They probably thought, well, I don't know what they were thinking. After that she never went near the street, and I always wondered how she knew to wake up from a sound sleep and jump out of the way. |
