| Does anyones yorkie play with a "hide a squirrel" dog toy? Louis is obsessed with looking out the window and watching the squirrels, so I was thinking about getting him a hide a squirrel dog toy. Does anyone have one of these, and does your dog play with them? |

| I think I need to get one for Louis. I just wanted to make sure that dogs are actually able to get them out of the "tree trunk." He will feel like he finally got one of those squirrels that he has been watching out the window! |

| Thank you so much for letting me know! I was just about to order Louis one. I am glad that I didn't! I will just have to find him a toy squirrel to play with. Again, thanks for letting me know! |

I have the regular size one upstairs and it is a riot to watch her play. I will concur that I do NOT leave this one alone with her because she stuffs her head into the tree trunk and tosses it around (or maybe the trunk tosses her around - I am not entirely sure). I really think the toy brings out her instincts of wanting to hunt in a hole. Great toys for my little one - hope it works as well for you!

| This sounds like a good Christmas present for Sophie, too. I scrolled through 10 pages of toys on the Petsmart web page and couldn't find it. Either I'm blind or maybe it's only in stores?

| Jack has one as well and it is by far his favourite toy. He loves to chomp on the trunk as well as the squirrels. I wouldn't leave him alone with it either though - all of the squirrels are 'earless' now as he's quite fierce with them! |

| Zhoie has both one and hide a bee, she doesn't play with either one of them, go figure. Seems to not be able to get them out when she 1st tried though.

Of course I can not guarantee anything! It will depend on the size of your little one and I guess how much he really wants to stick his head in it. All I know is that Zoey does not try to go further than her nose in the small one (called a Jr) but seems to relish being stuck in the regular size one. FYI: They have a regular size one, a smaller one called a Jr, and a large one called a Jumbo. Regardless, I do not leave this toy in an unsupervised area. Meaning, I am always at least in close proximity of her when she plays with these type toys. When I leave her, she is contained in the exercise area in the master bedroom that does not have these toys. (We live in a three level townhouse and she is a bit spoiled, with exercise areas on all levels) Hope that helps!
