| How to get urine stains off of wood floors? Does anyone have any idea how to get urine stains off of wood floors? Seems like my baby thinks that it is ok to go in just one room of our house. I'm guessing we will just have to sand it down but wondering if anyone has any other suggestions? |

| I wash my floors with Bleach or white vinegar. I have wood floors also and I don't get "stains". Maybe your floors have not been refinished lately and the coating finish is no longer there? We just had our hall way refinished and the floor guy said it's best to wash them with white vinegar. I hope this may help you. |

| I have hardwood oak flooring in a cherry stain and urine doesn't seem to stain it. Sophie hasn't gone on them in some time now but when she did I cleaned it with warm water first and and then Bona Floor cleaner/polish. The floors shine beautifully and there is no odor. You can get Bona at ACE Hardware stores.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I agree with Yorkiemama, if your floors are being stained, they need to be refinished. The coating should protect wood from liquids seeping down into the wood, if liquid seeps into the wood; they can be permanently stained. If the coating is still good, white vinegar and water are an excellent cleaner.
