| helpppp i bought a yorkie female yesterday from a breeder and i paid 1500 well peanut hates her..so i am selling her for 900 i have her akc papers and the breeder check "limited" She is too small to breed she is 6months and 3 lbs. I dont really know what i am suppose to do when i sell her should i not give the people her papers? if they buy her and breed her then will i get in trouble? i am confused on what to do I told the breeder to take her back and she wont..

| Are you sure you dont want to wait and see how they do after some time? Peanut is going to have to adjust, it has only been one day. It does take some time but in that time they will come to get along. Roxie was not happy when we brought Ryder home but now she cant live without him, but she was our only pooch for almost 3 years, so it took a while. If you are set on getting rid of her, I would sell her for the $900 and make a contract with who ever you sell her to to spay her immediately, or you should do it so as not to be in violation of your own agreement with the breeder. I am so sorry that this has not been a good experience for you. I know I keep saying this, but I thought Ryder was the worst decision because Roxie wasnt acting like herself and I felt like she was miserable, but after time she was fine- her separation anxiety went way down, she is back to her normal self, and she is much more social with other dogs than she ever was (I think she thought she was a human), but I would give it time, maybe limit yourself to a month and see what the times brings to you guys, one day is not going to be enough to make a good decision, Peanut has to adjust to her. Best of luck.

| More time and Patience! It took Baxter nearly two months to accept these two girls. Bear is a pushover and loves everyone. Baxter would snarl and bare his teeth everytime they came around, even snapped a couple of times. I made sure Baxter always felt he was in no way being pushed aside. When they got attention he got double, etc... finally.. now Baxter rolls over on his back and lets those babies crawl all over him and hang off his face. It took time. Almost two months is a long time, but you may be selling Peanut's future bestest friend!!!!

I brought home a tiny 7 week old Shih tzu , she was so little she fit in my hands . Suzi was not all that pleased either. Now, My puppy is 4 months old, and Suzi , plays with her all the time, they are the best of friends. It is so much fun watching them together. they make me laugh at their antics. It is so funny to watch them both have the zoomies Miely my little pup is still smaller then Suzi , but she ought to eventually grow bigger then Suzi. Not yet though . I have never regreted bringing home Miely with Suzi. At first I was nervous because Miely was sooo little , I kept a very close watch on her all the time, and when the play became too rough , for me, I separated them, just to protect the puppy. You always have to be much more cautious having the puppy in the home , and protective over her needs , to me that was my number one goal. I stay home all the time, which allowed me to always be near these guys. Give this more time, Peanut will come around.

| dont get rid of the puppy.. give it time.. Marley hated Colt when we first brought him home. She started sleeping under the couch or behind it .. she had never done that.. she even wouldnt let us touch her, and since I was the one holding him when we brought him home she was more pissed at me, and took more to my husband those first couple weeks.. he thought it was funny.. she would just glare at me like how could you do this to us? LoL it took about 2 weeks for her to warm up to him . Now she will bring toys to him so he will play with her, they play "tag" where they will switch off chasing each other, and they even share a bully stick at times, where they each will take an end and chew on it laying down , at the same time LoL! They even sleep cuddled up sometimes. I thought I had made a horrible mistake when I first brought him home, but it just takes time. We let Marley sleep in our bed with us and tripled her affection and attention.. to let her know she was still top dog and what-not. They will be best friends in no time. Now Marley and Colt are inseperable.. it will happen.. watch!

| She is so darling..... I am glad you are giving it some time. In my experience it takes about 2 weeks for the "Yorkies" to except one another. So don't throw in the towel just yet... Keep things simple, keep her contained until she gets the potty down. I use Peanut Butter Chips from the baking isle to do potty training (Treat Reward & Positive Praise) |

YT 2000 Club Member | I agree with the others, you need to give it some time. They arent going to love each on first site. My toy poodle is the diva of the house and when we got Tucker she hated him it took a few weeks for her to get use to him and now they are the best of friends. As far as the potty pads, give her time she is little, in a new house and needs to adjust. DId you honestly think that she would run to the pad as soon as you got her??? She is a beauty and if I lived closer I would buy her in a heartbeat!!
