I agree with the others, you need to give it some time. They arent going to love each on first site. My toy poodle is the diva of the house and when we got Tucker she hated him it took a few weeks for her to get use to him and now they are the best of friends. As far as the potty pads, give her time she is little, in a new house and needs to adjust. DId you honestly think that she would run to the pad as soon as you got her??? She is a beauty and if I lived closer I would buy her in a heartbeat!!
