| Welcome to YT. Will love to see pics of Little Harley. To potty train you need to be consistent and patience. He is only 12 weeks so you need to take him often outside or to the pee pad depending in which you are using. When he does it rite praise him. At 12 weeks he should be confine to a smaller area not roam all the whole house. You can try crate him. You can check old post for more tips, Good luck. |

| Welcome Texas Yorkie! Potty training is possible, it just takes time and presistence, remember human babies take YEARS to pottytrain! Let Harley out as much as possible and when he does pee outside or in the right place, praise him like no tomorrow... He'll learn! Just keep it at! |

| Welcome Diane and Harley!! There is so much excellent potty training advice here. You can do a search and read many many posts about it. But don't hesitate to ask questions when they come up. Potty training a yorkie isn't easy but it is soooo worth it! Like Marie said, Don't give Harley free roam in the house. If you're not playing with him or you can't see him, he needs to be confined in a pen or a section of a room. Keep us posted on how he's doing and post pix if you can.

| Welcome to YT Diane! I hope to see lots of pictures of Harley soon! Potty training is going to take time, the others have already said what I wanted to say about it. It's mainly about persistance, consistancy and patience. I can't tell you one dog of any breed or size that was 100% potty trained at 12 weeks. That's still just a baby. Good luck!

| Welcome to our family. Potty training is an issue with these little ones. Are you trying to train for outside potty or inside potty? There's a lot of valuable information on the site. Just do a search on potty training. |
